Vietnamese Dipping Sauce Nuoc Cham 180g by Nem Viet

Much nicer for dips than standard sweet chilli sauce. Not too hot but loads of flavour and not too sweet or gloopy. Great as a base to homemade dips. This is a liquid sauce ( like soya sauce) So pleased to find it again after the supermarkets in my area stopped stocking it. It sold less than the more commonly used Sweet Chilli sauce. This is much more like an authentic Asian sauce, not just for Thai food, but great with Chinese, Japanese, Malaysian, etc...

This sauce has the right balance of sweet, spice and tang for bun bo salad. I've used it as a dipping sauce for sweetcorn fritters and spring rolls. Will be buying again.

Wanted an authentic Thai chili sauce and saw this was highly rated and well reviewed. Indeed it's delicious. However it's as runny as water so very hard to use as a dipping sauce. I ended up just pouring some on but because the bottle is so small and the sauce so runny I basically used half the bottle using it sparingly on one meal. I'll not get this again as typical thick sweet chili sauces last me a long time and work better for dipping.

This used to be sold by Sainsbury's, it's a great dipping sauce and, you can use it for salads, chicken wings, anywhere you need a slightly spiced dipper!!!

Great taste, full of flavor but not too spicy.

Makes an amazing marinade when combined with grape vinegar and a couple of other ingredients - Marinated chicken was so tender and tasteful

I ordered it to eat with my nems. The flavour is very strong and it went fine with my nems. I wish it would taste a bit more sugary, but i am satisfied to taste.

I love this dip and it is hard to find so it's good to be able to purchase on Amazon. However the price is way too high for such a small bottle so I didn't give this full mark.
