I got this detail sander for some small home projects, and it honestly exceeded my expectations. It’s very lightweight and easy to handle, which makes it perfect for tight corners and detailed areas where bigger sanders just don’t work. The power is great for its size — it sands smoothly and evenly without feeling too aggressive. I used it to smooth wood and remove old paint, and it did the job quickly. As a female retiree still keen on moderate DIY, my hands/wrists don’t take kindly to using regular sandpaper and blocks, so this divine and oh-so-cheap little unit sounded perfect to lightly sand some cupboard doors prior to painting. The various sanding pieces are differing coarseness (numbered) and the leaflet explains which to use for what. It feels solid and not flimsy in any way. Its shape is comfortable and it’s not heavy. The noise level is perfectly acceptable to me and the attachment for collecting dust is very sweet and works well. I love it.

In all fairness, I have never used a sander before, so this is my first time. I will start by saying that this is extremely loud and very very strong. However, it does get the job done. I use this to sand down my cabinets before painting them and I must say it did a job well done. I was able to sand down all my cabinets unless the 45 minutes. Now I must say the little bag does catch a lot, but it still does leave a coat of dusting behind that you’ll have to go and clean up afterwards. I didn’t realize that I was using the wrong grit. It does come with different types of grit, which was perfect. So had I realized sooner that I was using a soft grit. I probably would’ve finished a job faster.. All in all I would have given it a five star, but it was it louder than I had expected it to be. I forgot to take a picture of what it looked like after I sanded it, but I will post a picture of what it looks like after I painted.

Never used an electric sander B4, so don't know a lot about them, but this was easy to put sand paper on and did a good job. It has a dust bag for use inside I imagine, but I used it outside so bag wasn't needed.

Amazing purchase if you like wasting time and money. Either the Velcro attachment or the sanding pads were designed blindly or to be as cheaply made as possible. Ensuring each pad is evenly placed, with no debris between the Velcro and sander, the pads either don't stick or fall off within 2 minutes of use. Reading online posts where people warn not to press down on whatever you're sanding, I thought it was surely my fault. Sanding so gently that I may as well be doing it myself with a sponge, the next 3 pads quickly fell off anyway.
