Swapped out the factory antenna on my F-150 for this short rubber version, and I’m impressed. FM stations come in strong, and while AM can dip a bit in rural areas, it’s still perfectly usable for my needs. I like this antenna, the radio reception seems the same as the oddly tall OEM rod, installation is easy screw off the old hand twist on the new, it has never loosened, I have gone through car washes, off road brush and hit this unit numerous times with my snow brush, no issues ever, I don't even think about it, except for when I see a truck in a parking lot with the ridiculously tall original one

Easy install, quality feels great, no change in radio reception. Much cleaner than the tall OEM metal antenna on my 2017 F150. Been thru winter and many car washes, no issues. Should have come from the factory like this.
