Rockville SK510 Package 10" Loaded K5 4 ohm Subwoofer, Enclosure, dB11 Amp

I received this kit for Christmas. I installed it in my 1993 Geo Metro. I like that it included the wiring kit. While the power cables may have been adequate for the amplifier, I had some 6 gauge copper cable that I wired it with to ensure that the amplifier didn't starve for power and to leave room for future upgrades. The amplifier is nice and compact so it fit under the driver's seat with plenty of room to spare. The logo on top of the amplifier lights up a blue color when it is on. The amplifier has plenty of adjustments to get it dialed in with the rest of the system. The subwoofer box seems decently made and the Rockville logo is embroidered into the carpet. The subwoofer is stiff, but it has a good bit of excursion when the volume is turned up. Overall, I'm pleased with the performance of this setup and the clean sound quality. While it won't rattle the dashboard loose, it's still impressive given the price. And it's plenty enough for a Geo Metro without it getting ridiculous.

I ordered this for a car of mine Iv been working on lately looking to add to the sound system. Looked like a great deal so I figured I’d try it out. Just got it in today took me maybe a hour to hook everything up. My amp was getting power but no sound from the sub. After looking back through everything I noticed the amp was completely turned down on everything setting so after some tuning it sounds great now. Came with everything needed and some. Looks great and sounds great. Hopefully they hold up for awhile. They only thing that I could complain about at all is maybe the speaker wire and remote turn on wire are to thin and could break easy. Rather than that seems like a great product and would buy it again

Installed this system in a 2006 Mazda 3.. took me 15 mins to wire it all up. I haven’t had a sound system since 2015 and this unit surprised me pretty well. I’m letting it break in before turning it on up. But it shakes my mirrors. Deep bass at low volume. Will update if something goes wrong with it. Update: 4/14/2025******* Let the sub break in for two weeks. Finally let it rip today. Sounds amazing. Pretty good set up for $180 I got the amp half way turned up. Updated 7/15/2025 Speaker voice coil went bad. Ordered a different brand speaker..

Quick installation and easy to set up. Good bass and fit well in the back of my 2002 dodge durango. Enough power to sound great. The amp has this blue light that makes the appearance look good. Loving it.

Have had this sub since December 2024, so a little over a year. It’s been great, puts out a ton of low notes, it looks clean, and the actual woofer seems pretty durable. Took me a couple hours and YouTube videos to install it, not that hard. Installed the amp under passenger seat, had to sand paint off for a good ground connection. Haven’t heard any distortion at all.

Product works well it was my first time installing a sub did it in 2 hrs I have had it 2 ish weeks no issues yet sounds pretty good gonna get a 12 instead of the 10 soon

So don't let the 2 star review be all you see when I first opened the box on this I felt all my high school nostalgia come back. The big custom built speaker boxes with the flipped backwards subs and whatever wire you could find to get it all up and going. The fact is for under $200 this kit was awesome and so painless to install. Once up and going it hit so nice I was actually not expecting it. Enough to feel it and watch it vibrate everything in your vehicle but outside barely anything which I liked. Then was working intermittently one morning going to work. Then it just stopped no more boom boom. Didn't blow the speaker either. Would I buy again yes. And I sad it didn't last yes. But it could have been a fluke or bad unit.

So I've never installed an audio system before. I studied for weeks online before making this purchase and I only went with this purchase because it was so cheap. I just wanted a little bit of Base. I bought the "Rockville SK510 PACKAGE 10" 1200w Loaded K5 Car Subwoofer Enclosure+DB11 Amp" I've had it installed now for 2 days breaking in the system driving around the amp got a little warm and I'm not quite sure how to tune my settings so I'm messing around trying not to break it. It sounds great for the price I paid. The wires that came with it was sufficient enough and I took my time to install everything correctly. I will update as time goes on if it fails me.
