This stuff gets you switched on!!! I workout at 5am most days and I just need that extra pickup in the mornings. Took 20 mins before workout and I just couldn’t stop lifting weights. Felt so pumped and this stuff pushed me to go harder on everything I took on. Had No itchy tingling feeling that I’ve experienced with other pre-workout powders. 100% recommend.

I have tried several pre-workouts and chose this one primarily due to the high reviews. *I am always hoping that people are reviewing honestly; not highly in exchange for free product. I workout basically 7 days a week, lifting weights and cardio classes. I am 53 years old and am in very good shape. I gave this product three stars because I have yet to experience the 'hyper focus' and 'surge of energy' that others have reported feeling. Also, I would say that the taste of this product is on the bland side. One of my favorite pre-workouts is ENGNSHRED cherry limeade. I love the bit of jitters it gives me in addition to a great, peppery kick. I do not get any of this what-so-ever from the NITRO SURGE. Why did I switch? Well, for any of you that use a pre-workout for an extended amount of time, you know that there comes a time when you just need a switch- at least for awhile. With this being said, I'm glad that some of you are having great results, but unfortunately the pre workout just does not do it for me.

Solid pre-workout overall and it definitely gives a noticeable boost. That said, the flavor tastes a bit more artificial than I expected. My main gripe is the serving size guidance. The label pushes “1 scoop” vs “2 scoops,” but one scoop feels more like a half-dose compared to most pre-workouts. If I take a full, normal dose (closer to what other brands consider one serving), I end up using two scoops—meaning the container lasts about 15 days instead of a month. If you don’t mind the artificial taste and you’re fine with the dosing math, it works well. Just be aware the “monthly” supply depends heavily on sticking to the smaller scoop.

If you’re looking for a good pre-workout this is one that is a very good price and gives you a pump. But if you are not use to pre-workouts, I would try a different brand possibly from Walmart that’s cheaper and work your way up to this because some people have said that it makes them very jittery. Me personally I do enjoy the product and I do a half a scoop into my water for work with electrolytes to help me go through my day. I do a full scoop before the gym with electrolytes. Also, the flavor is really good and it completely mixes no chunks.
