Does the stainless steel lid damage the piercing mechanism of the machine?

We tend to use the capsules with sticker lids, but at least once a day our Breville Creatista Plus gets a capsule with the stainless steel lid. Haven't noticed any damage to the machine, though it takes a bit more force to close it. As long as you push down carefully I don't see any problem with either type of lid! With the metal lids, we also leave 2-3mm of space above the coffee that the lid fits on tightly.

Do they work with the nespresso delonghi model en80 blae?

I think they work with any nesspresso machine that uses the original pod.
