Love this product. It was easy to apply and my floor looks wonderful.

Worth every penny. My bathroom is 16 foot long by approximately 5 foot wide in some areas. I bought one bottle of bone color and I had enough to do the bathroom floor twice with some left over. I love the results but I was hoping for bone to be a little darker.

Exceptional product, one of the only that actually lasts in high traffic areas like floors. It is not easy to work with - it’s basically very sticky paint, not a slurry/peanut butter consistency like actual grout. That means it will get everywhere and you’ll have a lot of scrubbing to do. The results are worth the effort though. If you’re doing large format tiles, save yourself some trouble and just mask off everything except the grout line with tape but if you’ve got lots of little tile or mosaics then skip the tape and send it. For cleanup, I found I saved a ton of time with baby wipes and mr clean magic eraser instead of just water and a sponge. Lay it down (I use a silicone caulk spatula), get it worked into the grout joints, let it sit 20 mins, give the top of the tile a gentle pass with the baby wipes to soften the dried excess and then hit it with the magic eraser. I use the grooved ones to avoid digging into the grout joints, just be careful not to press too hard and drag it out of the joints. Practice a few times before tackling a big section. If you have a porous surface like honed natural marble, it will soak into the pores. Seal the tile before applying the grout refresh! The part you really want to know is whether it lasts - my marble mosaic bathroom floor with white cementitious grout had its lines constantly turned orange from dead skin, moisture and general wear. I applied this 6+ months ago and it still looks brand new. Zero complaints and it’s the only paint style option I’ve ever used that lasts like this. It also seals the existing grout nicely and makes it less prone to collect gunk.

Like everybody else looking at this product, my grout was a disgusting color. No amount of cleaning was making it look better. The thought of removing all the grout and redoing all my tile was just UGH. This stuff was recommended so I figured "why not?" This stuff is easy to put on. It's just tedious work. You are essentially just painting your grout. Work in small sections and follow the directions. There may be some areas you will need to do a few coats on. I did white but I'm thinking a dark grout would have worked better. I will say that my grout looks 90% better so that's a win for me. I know eventually, I will need to regrout but for the time being, this is a great band-aid for tired-looking grout.

This stuff made my kitchen look 15 years younger! I was at the point of considering putting in a new tile floor because I could no longer get the grout remotely clean (it hadn't been sealed when we bought the house.) This is not too hard to apply - not much more work than scrubbing the grout with a toothbrush and Soft Scrub just one time. Here are a few application tricks I learned through trial and error; some are on the bottle, and some seem obvious, but if you do this it will make the job much easier: I did one area of the floor at a time, starting at one edge and doing a 2 foot wide strip across the width of the room. I'm middle-aged, with not the greatest back in the world, and it was pretty tiring. Spacing out the work over a few days made it easier for me. This one's obvious, but make sure you get the floor - especially the grout - as clean as you can before you start. I used Spic and Span and a scrub brush, and even scraped some spots with a knife if there was something really dried on there. Wait till the floor dries thoroughly before you begin. Squeeze a dab of Grout Refresh onto the grout at the far corner of the area you want to cover (but not right up next to the wall), then use a toothbrush to spread it back-and-forth along the groove. A little goes a long way, so it's better to start with a small dab. You want to avoid getting a lot of excess both on the grout, and outside the grout line - just a thin coat will do, I promise. Set a timer for 45 minutes. After 45 minutes, take a clean rag (microfiber cleaning rags work great) and wet it with lukewarm water. It should be nice and wet, but not really drippy. Starting at one corner, lightly wipe the rag back and forth over the grout lines. The product you applied to the grout will stick, but whatever you got on the smooth tile will wash loose. Rinse your cloth and keep wiping lightly until you've removed all the refresher from outside the grout lines. Be sure to wipe the tile clean, because if a flake dries 24 hours, it has to be scraped off with a knife. If you got a lot outside the lines, this step is A LOT more work. Also, if you applied the refresher too thickly, a piece applied to the grout can come off and give you an uneven result. It says to let it dry for two hours with no traffic. I had a hard time keeping my cats off it, but didn't notice that they left any marks. After a couple of hours, you can walk on it, but don't let it get wet for 24 hours. I added a picture and, as you can see, my floor looked gross. It's been a couple of months since I applied this stuff, and it still looks like the day I did it. If it gets dirty, I just wash the floor and the grout comes clean as easily as the tile did. Highly recommended!

I bought the eggshell color, which showed as a bright white that didn't work for my tile. I was able to return this product with no questions asked, in exchange for a biscuit color that looks much better. This product appears to be good quality. However, applying it to my sanded and uneven tile grout is difficult, as it was gloppy and sloppy coming from the tip. Neither of the suggested application methods work well. I have to use a small paintbrush to get even coverage, which is slow and extremely tedious; a horrible job if you have a large bathroom. I am experimenting with adding a homemade applicator tip to speed things up. I also hope that product durability doesn't become an issue as is all too common with grout paints and refreshers. I won't go through this process again.

This product has proven itself and everything that it says on this product is exactly how to use it which is great! The color is a little bit lighter than photo shows but could be because my tile floors are a lot darker than most. Super easy to put down & wipe off as well as doesn’t use much of the product to fill the grout lines which works for how much I need to cover! Would definitely recommend this brand!

I recently bought a home built in 1974. I'm not sure when the tiles were put in the kitchen but based on the awful dark stains that can't be removed from the grout no.matter.what, I'm thinking theyve been there quite a while. That being said, I've tried a few methods of applying the paint and subsequent tile clean-up and have a few pointers for anyone doing a project similar to mine. If you are trying to cover very dark, stained, unsealed, old grout like mine, two coats will be necessary to get full coverage. That said, the water/scrub method of removing excess paint does not work well. In fact, keeping any moisture away from the paint makes things go a lot smoother. You will spend an ungodly amount of time scrubbing and developing early onset arthritis in your knees, back and neck. What works best for me is to apply one coat of paint over 6-8 tiles and as you go wipe the excess off the tile with a finger. I wore latex gloves and that seemed to help alleviate the mess and create a nice sharp line. I wore my paint pants so I could quickly wipe excess off my finger. Since the paint dries quickly, I found that by the time I was finished with the 6-8th tile, the grout I started with was dry enough for a second coat. For the second coat, I was much more careful to stay in the lines. This made things go quicker than the first coat. I found that when I followed the instructions by painting the grout, letting it dry 30-60 mins then misting with water and wiping excess, left me with more work than I started. The water pulled up some of the paint on the grout and made it necessary to basically go through the whole process from start to finish to fix the dark spots. My fingernail ended up being the most effective tool in scraping excess paint off tile among an arsenal of other crazy things I tried using. Once most of my finger nails were broken off, I knew I had to find a better way. Buy some knee pads and take frequent breaks to stretch, otherwise you'll be pretty sore if you have a larger project like me. It would also be helpful to give yourself 3-5 days to finish if possible. Made all the difference in keeping my sanity! I am a little concerned about the paint coming up when I clean the floors later on. So far, so good, though. 4 stars for now... UPDATE — it’s been 2 years since I painted over the grout. It looks awful and I am currently looking for yet another fix aside from putting in new flooring. I have a dog and cat whose nails have done quite a job chipping the paint up. It also comes up easily after swiffering over it. I wish I would have left it alone or gone with a dark color. Buyer beware if you’re using this is a high trafficked area or putting light over dark!!
