I never really write reviews but this cage was absolutely amazing. I have three guinea pigs and 1 of them doesn’t get along with the other two so this was a need being in an apartment I don’t have the space for two cages. It’s large for them to have plenty of room and be separated. It was so easy to build I did it myself when I normal need my husband’s help . 10-10 from me. Even my cat enjoyed it. the design is beautiful, for the price it’s a sweet deal a lot of places are pricey.

I love this! Super easy to put together. The one board was broke but it was an easy fix. Plus I was able to put hinges on it so the top cage opens. My bunnies love their privacy from their new bedrooms. Cons - The wood is very flimsy and I dont like how the trays dont come out of the "frame". The wood is going to wear down quickly getting wet every week.

I purchased this for two guinea pigs as we found out they were not both girls and we did not want babies. I love the look and is a nice sturdy cage and easy to put together. Me and my daughter did it. I believe it says chew proof but is not. I tried to tell my daughter its wood, rabbits and guinea pigs WILL CHEW WOOD and boy did they. We did take the divider out as they chewed it the most and then started on the front of the cage then everywhere. 😊 My daughter did not find it easy to clean but she uses the fleece linings and would have to take all of that out before cleaning the tray. We used shavings once and read they aren’t good for the piggies. The shavings will come out the front of the cage. The area they would use the bathroom it leaked down the legs cause of course they liked to go in the corners. Wasn't happy about that for the price of the cage. Cage is a nice size, but we have switched to the metal wire fencing that they love and it's a much bigger area. Personally, I feel like the cage is too small for a rabbit and more then one piggy. Look at the measurements before you buy.

While I wanted to love this hutch it has proven to be more problematic then anything else. First it smells very strongly when unboxing and for days afterwards which was manageable with windows open but from 3 days into owning this product and cleaning both cages daily there is still an abundance of poop and pee on the floor every morning and evening. I have tried different liners, don't use shavings or carefresh as it will also fall right out of the gap in between the removable tray and the walls. The tray does not sit flush with the walls and leaves gaps for pee and poop to fall everywhere. Since day 3 not a day has gone by where there has not been poop and pee on the floor. The leak proof tray is true but what is left out is the fact that the tray is not flush against the wall, there are big gaps for everything to fall through and unless your bunny or guinea pig has a mind to pee directly in the inside of the tray every time pee will be everywhere. It was definitely a waste of money being that I now need to find new cage solutions.

NOT FOR OUTDOORS. This hutch was great at first though a bit flimsy to the touch. Easy to assemble. I modified the hutch to have wire mesh between the enclosure and the tray below to avoid dumping one animal on top of another when cleaning. It has a good area inside and generally pleasing appearance. HOWEVER after 2 months of being outside the back panels have started to mold at the bottoms, the trays stick constantly in the humidity from expanding wood, and the wire of the cage was wide enough to allow a black snake to attack my animals and kill them. Looking for a new solution now.

The product was easy to assemble, it's easy to clean, it arrived before it was suppose to it's lightweight and won't break your back.

UPDATE: I have had this cage for 4 months and I’m throwing it out. While the set up of the cage is perfect for giving my guinea pigs their own large space, it ultimately became a bad fit for them. The biggest reason is that because the cage is made out of wood and they have easy access to it, so my pigs would loudly gnaw at base and drive my household crazy. If I could go back I would definitely not buy this cage because of the poor quality, cheap materials, and how it unfortunately became a big expensive chew toy. I had high hopes for this cage but I decided to cut my losses and pursue other options. I got this cage for my two guinea pigs because they need a separate space. When the cage arrived, it filled my apartment with a chemical-like odor and parts came damaged. I can't identify what the smell was exactly, but similar to paint. You absolutely need power tools to assemble this cage, and there are no other tools provided. Additionally, not all the holes on the cage are marked to ensure the proper assembly and the pull-out drawers are so difficult to open and close because it gets stuck. This cage is way too expensive for how cheap it looks/feels/SMELLS, but it has been working out really well for my pigs so far. I would highly recommend a fleece liner because this cage does NOT hold bedding very well and will make a mess. But overall, my boys are really happy with the size and having their own private space. It was a rough start, but I think this was ultimately a good fit.

I was excited putting this together; however, that quickly faded when I realized it just leaks everywhere. I am assuming the bottom is warped since the bottom trays are supposed to be water proof (they are plastic) to hold this in. Because the hole to go into the small section of this enclosure is so small, fitting an additional litter box for your bunny inside the space is very difficult. Therefore, you have the joy of pee freely flowing down onto your floor. That really isn't acceptable with a price this high. -EDIT- I immediately had customer service reach out to me when I posted my review. I have never experienced such great customer service! They really showed they cared about my issue, and I greatly appreciate it. They offered multiple fixes for my issue and had an almost immediate response.

Great little hutch, easy to assemble. Was missing a couple parts but after fast communication with seller, they had the parts shipped out quick. Overall very satisfied. Thank you. Bought two.

Bought as a generous size chick brooder. This could easily be used as a quail hutch as well. For the purpose we bought for it’s amazing! It’s real wood, so it smells like real wood (which is awesome). We did not attach the top, because it allows for more flexibility for things like heat lamp height, checking chicks etc. for quail chicks we just added some cardboard along the bars at the bottom so they don’t fall through and it works well. This is not a predator proof hutch, it’s for indoor or city living use! If you use it outside you did not do enough research. I also would not personally use this for rabbits without some alterations or litter box training. Rabbits pee in corners, they will turn and pee as far into a corner as they can. So their pee WILL go on the wood sides and likely leak out. You could add plastic to the corners or again, litter train so they pee in a corner litter pan, but it would need to be one with sides at the back (so one made for rabbits based on how they pee). I also did not like or use the wood pieces to make a little house, they don’t go to the bottom and just look weird and pointless. But overall you cannot beat this and we will use it for years to come!

Easy to set up and good quality for the price. I use this for quail not rabbits this is not a set up I would not use for rabbits they will chew through the wood in no time.

This is a very low quality product made of this plywood and low quality wood. Product came damaged but seller gave me part refund for that. But now my bunny is just chewing it off from inside. The roof is solid but black tar particles keep falling off everytime you clean on even rub a hand on it. Also pull out trays are thin plastic. I put a layer on top so my bunny does not tear it off. Not sure how long this thing will last without repairs. Not recommended.

Most small animal hutches are small and cheap. These are easy to assemble and give ample room for your critters. They're easy to clean and stackable.
