Q: What replacement tape can I get that is thicker and more durable than the one that came with it? I'm out, need more.

There are many good tapes available that work really well with your Zippy Dispenser. For example: Scotch Moving & Storage or Duck EZ start (very quiet, almost feels magical with Zippy dispenser)- Amazon usually has a pretty good price for them. Try a little and see how it works for you before you buy a lot.

Q: Is there a maximum tape length this dispenser will accept? I'm currently using a 2" x 110 yard 2.1 mil tape roll

Your tape should fit. The distance between the spool that holds the tape and the large rubber roller is a little over 1.1". That is the maximum thickness of tape roll to fit Zippy (thickness refereed to, is measurement between inner and outer diameters of tape roll). So there is enough distance, even for thicker tape such as 2.1 mil that you're using.
