Like all of the Haoge accessories for my X100VI, this was well made and matched OEM quality. It adds a bit of understated flare to the camera, especially when paired with my Haoge thumb-grip. Teal on silver and black isn't too loud, but still striking in appearance. The fit was perfect and still allowed the lens cap to be used. This will make your camera slightly less portable, but will still fit in a good sized jacket pocket. The included UV lens is well made and makes the camera weather resistant. No change to IQ, and easy to remove for cleaning or swapping.

perfect for my x100vi. great for the price, adds color and protection to your camera

Quite frustrated and disappointed with the design. Although the material feels solid, the way the threads are designed is not optimal. Specifically, I am referring to the thread that is facing out after installation. That side of the threads is very, very slim, and does not have enough teeth to fit the Pro-mist filter on it. As I turn the filter to try to tighten it, it just continues to spin. My pro-mist filter fell off after a couple of sessions and cracked, lost $60+ because I have to get a new pro-mist filter and buy a new uv filter...

I was looking for a decent lens hood for my X100V that would complement the style and aesthetic of the camera without compromising functionality. The hood itself is solid metal, and has a nice grip pattern than matches the pattern on the camera dials. The built in UV filter seems to be of good quality, I don't see any noticeable affects on my images, so I'll leave it place for now. I mostly use optical mode when using the viewfinder, and found some hoods block out too much of the visible area. this one is only a little bit more visible in the viewfinder than the lens itself is. Other hoods just didn't have a good aesthetic appeal for me. One of the fun things about owning an X100 camera is all the ways you can customize the body to fit your own personal style. I wanted to get this hood in silver to match my camera's body, but that color was out of stock. I decided to step out of the box a bit and just go for this red one instead. It actually turned out to be a nice compliment to my red soft release button and wrist strap.

Works as intended and looks amazing! The listing says it fits original lense cap, it does not fit. Just be aware of that.

I like this one because it fits well, supports a 52mm filter in the front if you want and has a small bit of lip that helps protect the front.

The X100V needs a filter added on to become weather-sealed and hopefully this one will do in spite not having a rubber O-ring like some of the other Haoge hoods. Great little hood for candid photography that does't attract attention, looks great, and doesn't obstruct the OVF too much. The camera is so light that I can shoot with my right hand and use my left hand on its own or holding a book or something on the occasional shot when a larger hood would be needed.

El color es igual al de la cámara; no se nota que fuera un accesorio más. La nitidez y calidad de la imagen no se degrada en lo absoluto, y al contrario, la protege contra elementos externos. Lo único a considerar es que agrega quizá unos 2 cm más al frente, lo cual para mí es ínfimo, aunque sí que esos 2 cm se notan más al usar el OVF. Pero realmente sin el parasol aún así se nota el lente integrado de la cámara así que no le hace daño que se note un poco más. ¡Muy buen producto! Te da más confianza a la hora de usar la cámara.
