Weather Resistant Cornhole Bags (Set of 8) with Heavy Duty Tote - Professional Regulation 16oz Size & Weight

I was really skeptical when researching these bags as most companies have quite a bit of 1 star ratings and this one had very few. I read the 1 star and 2 star reviews to find a common issue and found two I was concerned about - stitching coming loose and inconsistent bag weight. Since all the others had more negative reviews for the same thing I crossed my fingers and bought these and paid full price. I got them in last night and I will say I can see where the stitching could be an issue on the corners at the one side where the stitching is exposed, as the material is folded there and thicker. I may be proactive before I use these and throw some extra stitches on the corners just so it does not come open during our big "tournament". But, as far as the individual weight variance concern, I measured each with my digital kitchen scale and got exactly 15.8 oz on all but one, and that one was 15.9 oz. I can't imagine getting any more uniform than that. The fabric looks heavy duty, and should hold up fine. Also, recent counterfeiting claims was a concern, but the box had SC Cornhole on it, and recessed into the stitching of each bag was a small tag with their website address. Yes, these are more expensive, but are well made, uniform weight, and the plastic should maintain the weight over the years much better than corn (plus, I live in the country where these would be pre-packaged mice snacks eventually).

We've only used them a couple times, but the bags are great. They slide a lot more than the corn bags I was replacing, so I'm interested to see if that changes as they get more use. I was hesitant at first because the cost is about a third of the materials for two sets of boards, but these save a lot of time and hassle of trying to do it yourself. I'm building a couple more sets of boards for friends and will be buying more bags to send along with them. **UPDATE 7/28: After I first posted the review, I took my boards to a friend's party. These bags were used the entirety of the party (about 6 hours in addition to the ~6 previously). We played with them again this weekend and they're now sliding exactly like I'd hope and expect but have maintained their quality. I couldn't be more pleased and will definitely be buying more sets of bags.

The stitching and feel of the bags is good. We got navy and beige ones, the navy had mold spots on them. We did ask for an exchange of the navy and it was quick, but even the replacement ones had mold on them. We looked over the beige ones and they were good, just the navy ones both times, original and replacements. At first, thought maybe just dust, but definitely had the hairy mold like food left in the fridge growth on them. We wiped them down and hoping the 'growth' does not come back. Other than that seem like good 'bags'.

These bags have held up well for 2 yrs now. Fabric is good and price is right. They replaced corn filled ones which expanded and got heavy after getting wet. Sure, you can get better bags for ALOT more money. I recommend these for any average player.

I got the SC Cornhole bags even though I owned Barcaloo bags All-Weather Cornhole Bags - Set of 4 Bean Bags for Corn Hole Game I needed another set and wanted to know which one is better? My personal favorite is the SC Cornhole - Weather Resistant Cornhole Bags by SC Cornhole (Red/Yellow) and there are lots of color choices. Both products I reviewed meet the official size and weight standards BUT SC Cornhole version is made with 12-ounce durable duck canvas and it is so obvious when you are holding them in your hands and when you toss. Plus SC Cornhole has a more subdued thud when landing on the game board instead of the whack made by Barcaloo brand. Don't get me wrong though because the Barcaloo bags are great and I was happy with them UNTIL I got the SC Cornhole models above to compare them with. The Barcaloo use a synthetic corn inside which is literally shaped like corn kernel so it feels more realistic in that sense but the lighter oz duck canvas makes for a limpy feel and it noisy when landing on the wood board. My personal preference for both feel and sound was SC Cornhole. If Barcaloo ever uses the heavier 12-ounce weight duck canvas I think I might change my favorite over to Barcaloo because of the corn shaped synthetic pellets would be nice from the feeling perspective and heavier duck canvas would make for the softer sound which I prefer.

We were beach camping and playing cornhole when two of our previous bags broke open and started spilling out sand/beads. This wasn't the first time this has happened with them and I've had to repair them on more than one occasion. We had back to back trips planned and I needed to get new bags ASAP. I decided to check on Amazon to see what was available and to check out the reviews. It was so EASY, I actually ordered these bags while sitting on the beach and by the time we got home, they were delivered and waiting for us. No traveling, no trying to track down new bags, no sewing and making new bags. I'm so glad I did!!! They are great! We used our new bags all weekend while beach camping. Played SEVERAL games on the sand and didn't have any issues with the bags. The quality is evident as soon as you feel them in your hand. Super sturdy and the specialty colors make it fun. I'm a Denver Broncos fan so of course we ordered the Orange and Blue ones. I highly recommend the bags. Big perk...the shipping was free to Prime members. Yay!

Great purchase, these bags work much better than Bullfrogs! I made my own bag set from old floor boards, which turned out great. The only problem was I didn't have a sewing machine. So for the past couple months when my friends & family would want to play, we would just use Bullfrogs. Bullfrogs weren't terrible, but created more of a hassle. First finding 8 of the correct size Bullfrogs was a challenge, & could take hours to do. The bags are easy to find as they seem to stay exactly where you last put them. Second these little buggers were very energetic & would occasionally jump right off the board. The bags seem to me much less jumpy, & stay right where they land until acted upon. Third the bags aren't slimey! This was a huge issue with the frogs, alot of people didn't want to play because how slimey these frogs could be. All in all great purchase & if you are sick of throwing frogs you'll love these bags.
