I would recommend this product. I used the size recommendations given and the item was able to fit. By the third use I was able to wear using the first set of hooks. I wear it to the gym and out. My jeans and underwear fit nicely over it. Wished it was just a bit shorter though. I am 5'8" with an average torso for my height but it I will be making another purchase

This waste trainer is absolutely amazing and it really does suck you in however the sizes do run small so be mindful of that.

Good Starting Waist Trainer
I typically wore the trainer for about 8-12 hours a day in an attempt to shrink my waist. I am 5'5" and 150 lbs and I ordered a large. It was snug but comfortable and I found myself progressing to tighter hooks. I have now been on the third hook for a while and am ordering a size down. I think it does stretch a bit. My waist has gone down a bit, however, it was not a dramatic change. Overall it is fairly comfortable although a bit long (I am ordering the short torso for my next trainer). I would definitely recommend this to start out though especially at this price!
