Over a year and a half later it's still like brand new! Strong and good build, the grip is great and it has padding so it doesn't hit the floor hard and make noise or damage. Great for balance work and a budget replacement for some bosu ball exercises!

Excellent Quality board. If you want the option for a wider stance, get the XL, otherwise this board is great for tucking it away in smaller spaces, which makes it easily accessible to use throughout the day.

This StrongTek Wooden Rocker Board is wonderful! It is well worth the additional few dollars as the materials and workmanship is excellent. The top dense and well glued plywood pieces is exceptional as is the sanded and sealed wood. ( no splinters on my thin skin) The gripping surface material and it's adhesion will last forever. I purchased a two sided 2x3 exercise equipment mat here on Amazon made buy Legnowit which will insure I won't dent the wood floors or scratch tile ones. As a 72 year old woman I learned to use one of these boards in my much needed resent Balance Therapy classes which I am now continuing at home for the rest of my standing life. The moment I stepped on that board I knew it would help with my brain disorganization caused by DYSPRAXIA that has worsened with age plus the anxiety that caused by the dizziness. As a former boater the waves always benefited me whether like glass or high seas so the board is a sure thing improvement. This one is exceptionally light weight to carry around. The smaller sized model is perfect as it allows me enough room to do squats on it - 5'5" 162 Lbs size 10 w feet. It's improving my already pretty good posture. To steady the rocker better it encourages me to improve my abdominal posture/muscles and to sustain my meditative level of stomach centered breathing. I am astounded to realize I am becoming able to do upper body exercises since getting this on just a couple of days ago maybe one legged standing while exercising is in my future. Through my research I learned this will correct my slightly weak ankle and reinforce my strong knees even more. I'm looking forward to the day when I get StrongTeks Intermediate Board!
