You have to mix it the right way! This is a MUST for backpackers and U.S. Mil Pers on deployment.
Coffee Booster- Interesting name, right? But who wants to put coconut oil and clarified butter (ghee) in your daily cup of coffee, right? You might be surprised how awesome this product is, IF you blend it well! But first, what type of person would be interested in this? And why would backpackers and military personnel on deployment want to use this? Coffee Booster essentially "fortifies" your coffee with "healthy fats" and a mild cocoa (chocolate) and it actually tastes good! It gives me e sensation that I've had a meal and helps me reduce binge eating that is borne of waiting too long to chase hunger back. If you are a packpacker/ trekker, you might be out in the boonies with very little in your pack and a hungry hole in your stomach! You've likely pared down what you'll carry because ounces= pounds and pounds = pain. I recommend filling one of those little "TSA approved" type 3 oz. travel squeeze bottle or tube of Coffee Booster. Shelf consistency is very much like butter. So, tucking the little travel bottle against the body while you hike or sleep will make the Coffee Booster pourable when you're ready to drink your coffee. What about US Military personnel on deployment? That's strange, right? Nope! Our troops are doing everything mentioned about backpackers and trekkers carrying light, and they do it while carrying heavy rucks and other critical gear, moving at a driven pace and in hostile deadly conditions. Troops need maximum nutrition and emergency energy in a compact package. For decades, military field rations have been "fortified." That is, fat and caloric content is maximized in the smallest size possible and still provide a hot meal. Units on deployment may find themselves surviving on little packed food and water, and in need of energy and hunger reduction. Coffee Booster is a "fortifier" for your coffee or even just hit water! If I was out in those conditions and could boil water, I would take Coffee Booster. If I was out in those condition, or even if I was just backpacking and I couldn't even make a fire to make coffee, I would take Coffee Booster with me. If needed, it could be eaten by itself to keep you going for a time and stave hunger temporarily. I normally use about a heaping mounded teaspoon of Coffee Booster into about 16oz of hot coffee. I also add my secret weapon...whipping cream. I buy several cartons of shelf stable whipping cream (little sealed boxes, like kids juice box drinks) available at your local "Jader Troes" store. How does it taste? I like it. When I first tried it, it was a bit "meh" about it. I scooped a spoonful and stirred it into a hot cup of coffee for a full minute to make sure it was well mixed as the other reviews mentioned it's important to mix it. They are sooo right! Even after stirring for a minute, the first cup had a distinctly oily mouth feel and taste. I tried using an electric foamer, with similar results. I found that for me, blender sticks and traditional blenders created too much froth and then there's the dreaded clean up. Being a foodie, I remembered the "pulled tea" drinks if India. So- here is what I've found works best for me. I use two insulated drink tumblers (Fydro Hlask or Yepi type) and simply pour hot coffee, whipping cream from the carton and a heaping teaspoon of Coffee Booster into one cup. I then pour the contents back and forth between cups, increasing the pour distance to increase the mixing. After a dozen cycles or so of pouring back and forth, I find that the Boosted Coffee has a silky mouth feel and the Coffee Booster adds a very mild chocolate hint. And...you can do this in the field off the grid. I also find that drinking a cup of Boosted coffee before I eat breakfast really satisfies and helps me make better choices on what to actually eat for breakfast. It's so easy to eat crazy when you wake up hungry. I find that coffee Booster helps take the edge off hunger and has played an integral role in a better eating and exercise regimen that I'm on. Try it a few times before you decide. It's a different type of drink, so allow yourself several drinks to get used to a texture you might not be used to. I didn't care for the texture at first, but I quickly adjusted, and I now use Coffee Booster every day! Try It!

Thank you Grasso!
Great product for your coffee. I've been using Grasso for several years and recommend it to anyone that enjoys a little something extra in their cup of Joe. I use a frother for mixing, but one can just use a spoon or butter knife. It tastes good due to the ghee and coconut oils. It's not cheap, but compared to what one would spend in a boutique coffee shop it is a good value. I have tried other, less expensive coffee creamers, but keep coming back to Grasso. I drink 2 cups a day, and a jar usually lasts me a month or more. Yes, I recommend to a friend!

MAKES BLACK COFFEE DRINKABLE!
Just received this yesterday. Jar was intact and the contents were liquid. I could smell the faint hint of coconut which I honestly don't mind at all. If you can't stand coconut or are sensitive at all to the smell, you might not enjoy this. I was worried this wouldn't mix well in my coffee and would end up separating, leaving small or large chunks of congealed fat in my cup. Seriously, that would make me gag. So, I ended up buying a cheap $15 Hamilton single cup blender with my order, defied the instructions about not using hot liquids, and blended the 1Tbl of Coffee Booster, 1Tbl of Heavy Cream, and 8oz of Keurig Breakfast blend in the blender for about 30 seconds and it completely emulsified my concoction without any issues. I think the key to using hot liquids in the blender is only putting half of what the blender can hold, and not using anything with a boiling temperature. After adding the Coffee Booster and cold heavy cream, my coffee was about 140 degrees, which I enjoy. Now onto the flavor. I was a die hard sugar with half and half coffee drinker. I absolutely hate black coffee. However, I've decided to go the Keto route for health reasons and sugar and I have parted ways. This stuff makes black coffee WAY BETTER. The most distinctive taste for me is the hint of coconut. But the other ingredients just make it creamier. I didn't add any fake sweeteners and I could totally drink this. Now I'm just waiting to see if it makes me have all that energy everyone talks about. :) Delivery was same day. So, shipping was fast to say the least (hehe). So, I'd recommend the product. $20 for the promise of more energy and better health is pretty much a no brainer.

Easy (and yummy) way to skip carbs, add fat for breakfast
This stuff is great for keto. For those of you who are freaked out by the idea of putting oil in your coffee -- fear not. This is delicious and creamy, just make sure to blend well. On that note: I've used a regular blender, which was more difficult due to the heat of the coffee, and an immersion blender, which gave me no trouble at all. I've heard a milk frother works well too, and believe that they actually give you one with your first order if you order directly from their website. Either way, I definitely recommend getting something hand-held, because hot liquid spraying out of a blender is... not fun. With this stuff for breakfast, I'm full well into the afternoon and I still have a ton of energy. I recently hit an average of five cups of coffee with regular Coffeemate creamer before noon (about one an hour). Since I started making one cup of coffee with one tablespoon of the booster, I've only been drinking the one cup, and I've had more energy than my five cups were ever giving me. I can't wait to see what flavors get added in the future! This one is chocolatey with a hint of coconut from the oil. If you blend it right, it tastes like a really good coffee drink you'd get from a cafe. I definitely recommend if you're on keto, doing intermittent fasting (which, to my understanding this doesn't break as it doesn't cause your blood sugar to rise) or just trying to replace breakfast that you give this stuff a try.

Awesome product !
This is a awesome product. I tried it this morning in a cup of coffee. I put one Table spoon in my cup of coffee around 7:30 am this morning and ate a very light breakfast and I did not start getting hungry until around 3:30 p.m. in the afternoon. And even then, I still only felt like eating very little. I have been having someone real issues with sugar cravings but not once today after putting this in my coffee did I find myself wanting anything sweet or sugary. I also noticed that it improved my energy level as well. I know it's just my first day, but I am willing to stick with it. And get into more of a healthy eating and exercise regime. I been trying to work on losing weight. I believe that I can really do it now. I saw this product being talked about on the Doctor Oz show this past week, and I also read a lot of mixed reviews. I can only speak for myself when I say I felt the results of the product right away and it works for me. I truly hope that it works for others that are willing to try it. Like with any product it takes time and discipline to see positive results. It would not hurt to change your eating habits and at least start a exercise program under the care of your Doctor and not to use any product as a quick fix magic wand solution to be in good health. That is something that you are going to have to put in your efforts, actions and discipline into making good health away of life.

2 week trial results
Wasted money for some, like me. WEIGHT LOSS: I tried for 2 weeks but didn't lose even one pound more than I already was losing (on low carb) before when just drinking my coffee with milk. There might be something to what some dietitians support - weaning your body from less dietary fat to body fat to burn off, as I did drop extra pounds after I stopped using this product so maybe the high fat in this is limiting. Of course, if you are not trying to lose weight, then this is a moot point for you. HUNGER/SATISFYING: I did not feel any more satisfied than I did just by my weaning away from breakfast and then lunch over a few weeks (intermittent fasting). After a while you just don't get hungry and feel energized in the mornings if you do it for long enough (2-3 weeks). I wonder if those who feel too challenged could use this product and then slowly lower how much they use down to zero to help themselves wean off breakfast. TASTE: It was ohhh-kaay, but not enough creaminess for latte drinkers like me. I would give it 3 stars for just taste though. NO RETURNS: This was upsetting, not just for me who only used for 2 weeks and had to throw the rest out, but for all those people who received opened products. QUALITY: Mine was also separated as if it had never been mixed. I also noted several who had re-ordered and then got an opened or bitter-tasting product. No recourse for those is an unacceptable practice.

Fine, not as profound as I had hoped.
I am a pad of Kerrygold and teaspoon of coconut oil manual maker and enjoy it daily. I went with this just as kind of an experiment as it is probably "cleaner" by paleo standards, had the cocoa, and would make it less complicated in the morning. Comparatively, it was fine but I did not find it particularly flavorful. I was using a decent sized glob in 12 oz mug and I could faintly taste the cocoa. I did not get the mouthfeel or buttery taste of my normal mix. I did not use a whisk or froth tool so that may have enhanced the product. However, if I have to use a battery powered gizmo it kind of defeats the less complicated purpose. I wouldn't avoid this, I scraped the jar clean, but I am not really excited about it again as it certainly was not less expensive.

Convenient and Tasty Bulletproof replacement
I'm only a month in with Coffee Booster, but it is dang tasty. I've been bulletproofing my coffee for about 6 months now, and Coffee Booster both tastes better (much more coconut and a nice hint of cocoa), has a better mouthfeel (nice and creamy), and has been generating the same positive effects (more energy and focus, less hunger) as the full-on bulletproof system. It's also super convenient - I just keep this at my desk at work and add it to my coffee in the morning. You do need either a frother or the ability to shake your coffee in order for this to mix well; it doesn't stir in with a spoon. So, if you're looking for a 1-stop bulletproof replacement, or are interested in adding some fats to your coffee, Coffee Booster would be a great place to start. The only thing I wish I knew more about is the ethics of the company that makes Coffee Booster. That's why I don't really like bulletproof - they espouse the [toxic] masculine ideal of a high-powered, "conquer everything" life through their products, which is unnecessary. I just want some coconut oil in my coffee so I'm less tired and less hungry at lunch, man.
