It is a very flat woven doormat that is backed by a rubber material. It looks like it is a durable mat and very nice to look at too.

These are really stylish and useful mats. They also wash well on 30 degree, 30 minute cycle- a bit of fabric conditioner also helps to prevent any curling of the edges.
