Maximal batteries offer maximum value for me
Overall, charged it fully over a course of 10 hours and it's given me a great deal more battery time than the oirginal EN-EL1 that came with the camera. Of course, the mah capacity of these batteries is about a 3rd higher, so some degree of longer battery time is to be expected. Also, I bought 3 of these, but have not had a chance yet to test all three. Overall, judging by the first one, I think I'll be happy with this item.

Nikon replacement battery
I was thrilled to find a replacement battery for my ancient Nikon digital. (Guy at the store told me "they don't make them anymore;" he wanted to sell me a new camera.) My tech support guy found this one for me on Amazon. Bought it, popped it in, camera works. Not many success stories that easy these days. Only fly in the ointment is that the shipping is almost as much as the battery. I didn't have anything else I needed to order to get free shipping and I didn't want to wait until I did. My bad, I guess. Wish Amazon had sliding shipping fees for such low-cost items. But the battery is mint. Very happy.

Nikon EN-EL1 Battery
Just got the battery yesterday so I cannot give a long range review. It took its first charge properly and now my camera works well.The price was good. It's getting difficult to even find this battery locally.

Great battery!
I decided to pull out my Nikon Coolpix 8700 because I wasn't thrilled with my new camera. Battery was completely dead and wouldn't charge.This battery works great. Charges quickly with the charger I bought. Holds a charge for a few days. I've never actually drained the battery yet, I just charge it after using the camera quite a bit so it doesn't die when I need it.

These work great for my Nikon digital camera. Much cheaper than original. It's good to have an extra on hand just in case, even though they seem to last forever.

Don't waste your money
Needed to replace my Nikon Coolpix batteries for a vacation trip. I've used 3rd party batteries before with no issues but these were a problem. They didn't fit well in my charger. Very tight. I let them charge all night and upon putting them inside the camera, were dead as doornails--
