Any recommendations on what type of seeds to get for this or does it not matter?

We recommend starting with fast-germinating seeds such as bean or pea seeds. After that, it's fun to experiment. The included, kid-friendly activity guide has lots of seed suggestions. We hope you'll post photos of what you grow so we can all see the beautiful roots!

One of the flasks leaks, does anyone have a solution to repair this?

Will this bring pests like regular gardening?

This is more of a science experiment, not true hydroponic gardening. It won't bring pests unless you have them in your home already.
