These are very pretty, but brightly colored and dark for highlighters; they also bleed thru Bible onion-skin pages easily, if not careful. I've been using them as markers; they are very beautifully colored.

Not very metallic, but still pretty nice
These are at a very good price from a trusted maker of writing instruments. But there are lots of different highlighters out there. These are pastel with a slight shimmer. So, if you are looking for something metallic, this has a tiny bit of that. I still like them and will use them. I suspect these would be a hit with anybody who journals. If the said shimmer or something to that effect… But they did say metallic.

Great...if you're looking for bland pastels
I'm puzzled as to why they called these highlighters "metallic". They're not at all shiny or metallic, and they're not even particularly good highlighters (they're excessively wet and only work well on certain types of thicker notebook paper). They just look like bland pastel colors. A couple of them leaked in the box during shipment, too, so I'd recommend caution if you intend to put them in a purse or pocket.

Beautiful color theme
I loved how all the colors coordinated together and looked pleasing to the eye. The colors do not have shimmer for majority of the colors. When using the highlighters I saw that the print is so heavy that it soaks through the other side of the paper and Smudges on various prints . They’re pretty but not what was advertised .

Only half of the highlighters work
I was super excited to get these highlighters (I have an obsession with markers, highlighters, pens, etc), but was disappointed when the first one I tried only lasted a few strokes before running out of ink. A few other colors were similar. Then I had two where as soon as the highlighter touched paper the tip disappeared up into the highlighter and I had to use tweezers to dig it back out again. The few that work are beautiful in color, but not worth the money.
