Well done Spear & Jackson. I rarely give 5 stars but I will this time. I had a great time using it and it looks like it is going to be there for a long time. My wrists aren't strong but used it without difficulty. Just the right weight. The price is reasonable for today's expectations. It is also definitely better than my son's VonHaus Telescopic Tree Pruner & Looper. I usually take his advice as he is better informed than me but I am glad I didn't this time. It doesn't feel cheap like most China products do. Maybe it is made in China but it feels like a genuine British excellent quality tool. I hope that one day soon British people will go back to making their own quality products and start seeing "made in UK" 🙏

The tool is fantastic. It has allowed me to cut branches with both the saw and the clipper and works a treat. It is quite hard to use the saw as it's so high up and need balance and some strength, but once getting the hang of it and with plenty of arm rest it's amazing. Previously I had an issue explained below. I contacted support and they sent me a new tool and it's amazing. (1st one came damaged, the one that was reissued had no issues) The bottom of the stick came damaged. It's very sharp and dangerous to use. Must of either been sent like this from the manufacturer or got damaged in the transit as the stick was was not covered at all. Shame it is like this as seems like a good tool

As you would expect for a Spear & Jackson tool, this tree pruner is very well-made and quite easy to use. However, the blade, although very sharp, is a little too flexible when trying to cut thick tree branches.

This is a brilliant garden tool. It's my no1 go to when I need to prune branches of trees and my wisteria. I have lent it to family members. The fact that it extends to twice it's length makes it more useful and saves having to climb ladders. Definitely good value for money

Absolutely fantastic for lopping branches...good hight reach as well..though I did get a bit tangled with the pulley rope at times ..but very easy to use

Easy to put together but take care, blades are super sharp. So easy to reach those high places to keep growth under control. Very pleased with the quality.

Used this to prune back a well developed tree. The secateurs are brilliant! The cord and handle do a fantastic job at controlling the cutting. The telescopic shaft extends to almost twice the length of the tool when collapsed, providing more than enough reach for the bulk of tasks it is required for; The only real complaint is the saw it's self. the blade is extremely flimsy! When trying to cut branches with the tool extended, it is almost impossible. The saw blade just bends, catches and gets stuck, I even had issues with it bouncing out of the cut. I would 100% recommend this product, but I would STRONGLY recommend buying a far better upgraded blade that could fit the unit. If this is not possible, spend an extra £50 and purchase a pruner that is higher quality. The work I did over the weekend took twice as long as it should due to the flimsy blade, was disappointing. The rest was excellent. Highly recommended for novice pruners that just want a quick and easy way to chop back some trees; If you want a professional job with ease of use, get something more professional.

Tolles Teil. Wir sind begeistert. Alle Teile und Verbindungen sind aus Metall, nicht so ein Plastikkram wie etliche andere es machen mit den Verschleissverbindungen. Die Astschere ist wunderbar scharf. Die Astsäge sollte man möglichst nur mit eingezogenem Teleskopstiel nutzen, weil man sonst beim Sägen zuviele Schwingungen erzeugt, wodurch das Sägen schwerer wir. Wir können das Produkt empfehlen.

Ich habe für den Preis nicht viel erwartet, muss aber sagen ich bin positiv überrascht. Gerät wird hochwertig und Säge ist super scharf. Für den Preis immer wieder gerne.
