KMINA Forearm Crutch Pads for Hand Grips, Neoprene Cushions (2 units)

These are a must have for anyone on crutches. My hands became sore after one day on crutches. These soft, padded, durable and well-fitting sleeves fixed the hand soreness. The images are after 2 months of use and you can see they still look new. There is substantial padding for your hands. Well worth the price, easy to put on and extremely well fitting. Velcro secures to crutch handles.

I’ve now used these for a week. My palms were in such pain before they arrived. I’m no longer in pain! Without these, my forearm crutches were intolerable. Now, it’s good. The padding is thick but doesn’t interfere with having a good grip on the crutches. I wish the Velcro straps were longer. But so far they are staying secure with just a 1/2 inch overlap. Very grateful to have these pads.

So, I have some pros & cons... Pros: 1) definitely more comfortable than the handles themselves 2) easy to install 3) attaches nicely with either strap on top 4) they're open on the bottom, making it easier to grab them/the handles 5) arrived quickly Cons: 1) there's ample padding more towards the outer end (where the thumb/index finger are), but not enough toward the inner end, which may not help with relieving pain in that area 2) the velcro could stand to be a little longer, in all 3 places. I got them to attach, & they're not moving, but I really had to pull the straps 3) I'm not sure how long the cushioning will hold up I just got these today & haven't been too mobile. So, other than putting them on & taking a spin around 1 room to test them out, I can't give too much of a review. However, I'm hopeful they will help relieve the soreness in my hands when using my forearm crutches. I tried a pair, from another company, that went all the way around the handle. While the cushioning was nice & thick, it made wrapping my hand around the handles very difficult. Plus, the cushion compressed more than these do. So far, I like these & am hopeful

Really well designed product makes my forearm crutches and 4-wheel cart much more comfortable to use. Cons: velcro straps could be longer Pros: fit 3 different devices well, feels very secure on all devices Thick gel padding Not too thick Easy to use Easy to remove to wash or move to another device. I’m a thick woman with larger hands, 5’10”. These gel pads really help with the pain of resting all my weight on my hands. My 4-wheel walker cart was virtually unusable, with painfully designed handles. Gel pads fix it right up. Fit great on one of my forearm crutches, a tight fit on the other crutches, but still a tight sturdy install. I would buy these again. Great value and ease of use.

Amazon recommended this for the Vive forearm crutches, the Kmina pads DO NOT fit. The Kmina pads are designed for a standard cylinder hand hold and the Vive is an ergonomic hand hold. Straps fit around the pole part and the end of the handle but not at the handle/pole connection. Otherwise it apears to be a good pad.

One star for the cushion, but it will not stay in place it rolls around as much as I try to Velcro it tight around. It’s actually hurting more and causing me to be more unstable by it moving on my handle.

Added to his crutches so he doesn't get blister. We will see when we go on vacation

The hand grips worked both on my forearm crutches and my cane. They do take a little getting used to. With my forearm crutches I had to remember not to grip so hard. But they added cushion right where I needed it.

I could only find 2 companies who did silicone padded crutch handle covers. The other one had 407 positive reviews, but this one had over 2.5k! I see that this is handmade by a small, independent company. I can say that the quality of the workmanship is superb and I'm very happy to support and recommend this product/company. It's a perfect fit on my NHS crutches and feels secure without being bulky. Really decent amount of padding. I know this will make such a difference to the comfort when using my crutches. I'm also a health professional and so will be recommending this to my patients too. Excellent product, really pleased. Worth every penny!

HIGHLY recommend. Had a full hip replacement, so using crutches all day for 6 weeks, and these pads are incredibly good. Because they are made of gel they don't lose the padding effect over time, remaining soft under hand. The colour is also ideal as these pads can easily get grubby. Also used them on the zimmerframe in hospital, where they worked perfectly also. I did see other reviews saying that they were hard to put on to the crutches and I have to say that I didn't find that. They are really well made and tge fit is perfect. My physio in the hospital was so impressed that he noted the details of these to pass on to future patients. Do not hesitate to buy these, your hands will thank you 🙌
