Does this have some kind of straightening agent in it? I bought this a month ago and it smells too strongly of chemicals for my liking.

It has no bad chemicals in it. It’s common practice for hair lightening treatments and hair dye to use avocado for its great moisturizing qualities. Avocado, in general, just tends to have an odd smell when mixed into hygiene products (i just know from experience I’m not a professional or anything), I’ve been using this specific product since childhood and the smell, I agree, isn’t the most pleasant. But it’s still the only deep conditioner I use, it has done wonders, especially since I’ve been using it for 10+ years.

I have very natural curly hair and I am looking for a deep conditioning to help keep my hair silky when I blow dry it. Will this product help?
