The product broke within 6 months and had to be sent for repair.

I must say I have researched and looked for ages - but this machine exceeds my expectations - beautifully made - it is a fabulous design and easy to use - and works so well ! It clicks into place and is idiot proof ! I fancied myself as a bit of a barista so thought about the dual boiler - but heck why overcomplicate things - The hardest part is not drinking coffee all day !! Highly recommended

After much research we bought this for my son’s Christmas present. We now make regular trips to his house just to drink his coffee. More than we thought we would pay, but its an investment piece; a strong and good quality product and he loves it.

I’ve been after this machine for over two years now and yesterday took delivery. I held off just because of price. While I absolutely love coffee, I think we can all agree that £1000 on a machine is a lot of money to spend. Fortunately I managed to get this for £799 in a sale and honestly, it’s worth every penny. If you want coffee shop quality coffee at home then look no further. A beautiful machine and stands out in any kitchen. Easy to use with a great user interface to take you through step by step and of course, superb tasting fresh coffee.

**UPDATED 2026. Still going strong. Water tank definitely too small! But still happy with all else. If in a hard water area I would say you MUST always follow the descale and cleaning cycles, or more frequent. And we now use softened water. It’s fine, health wise, and might even marginally improve flavour.** UPDATED after longer use. Very good machine. Star lost as imho overpriced. Great, simple menu system. Fast, intuitive set-up. After couple of practices, very quick to make a perfect coffee, even if done 'manually'. Very easy milk heating and clean up. Lots to explore once used to the basics, and worth tweaking the settings. Minor wrankles for completeness: first one poorly packed and dead on arrival - Amazon did brilliantly in sorting it though. Water top up fiddly. Standard coffee grind amount wasteful but easy to adjust. If portafilter fitting in the mount seems too stiff, you're probably overdoing the dose. Works equally well with beans and pre ground but changing the baskets hard on the fingers. If you're in a hard water area think carefully about the ongoing cost of filters and descalers and, I imagine, it will be a short product life.

Even better when purchased on Prime day, but making great coffee at home is a must. Spend a bit of time to dial in your beans blend and you'll reap the rewards. Best purchase this year for me!! So easy to use, pick your brew, press go. Highly recommended.
