Really helps to lift dark hair
Trough trial and error I use 2 boxes of this lightest blond with one box of Nutrisse R3 Light intense Auburn to achieve this color on my natural Black wig. The lightening packets that are included in with this cream of nature hair color help lighten then hair just enough to achieve the auburn color I want. I’ve been doing this for quite awhile and it did take some trial and error because at first the hair that’s closest to the “scalp” was lifting faster than the rest of the hair. That might be because with the amount of hair, it was warmer in that area so as a result, the hair would come out with the first few inches of the “roots” a reddish blonde and the rest of the hair Auburn. That didn’t look good at all and I had to go over it again with a light brown color but I didn’t give up so on the next wig, I colored the whole wig except for the first 2 to 3 inches from the “scalp” . I use a paddle brush to run it through and put a bag over it. I only had to wait about 10 to 15 minutes and that varies so I have to keep my eye on it to see how fast the hair is lifting. once it gets to the point that I like then I have to go back and color those 2 to 3 inches of “roots” and brush it through the rest of the hair and then rinse it out when I feel it all matches and this happens fast. . The result is very nice. It also looks as if there are auburn highlights. The pictures don’t really show the auburn color very well. To minimize damage after rinsing color out, I put the wig In a basin filled with water, the provided conditioner as well as silicone mix. Also just a side note. I never use any shampoo. To cleanse, I only rinse the wig out a couple of times, put it in a basin with a good conditioner and about a tablespoon of coconut oil and let is soak for an hour or so. .color and condition stays nice. Another tip… if there is melting spray on the lace, while rinsing, I spray glass cleaner (yes glass cleaner) on the lace, let it sit 5 min and rinse, never have to scrub it.
