Worth the money
Fits and works well on a 2025 Yamaha FX. Stayed closed through rough waves and no water at all came out while doing 60+ mph.

Works great on my 2023 Waverunner VX Cruiser HO, installed 2" from front hose closest to the spout.
I didn't want the Waverunner spout blowing water onto me on windy days, so I decided to add this valve. Nicer than just removing the hose entirely or plugging it up as you can always switch it on or off anytime you like.Key Points/instructions:- Disconnect the bucket and put it in the downward position, simple to do, instructions in the Yamaha owners manual.- Determine best position to install the valve without it interfering with the bucket in the closed position. Move the bucket up and down and determine where the valve needs to be, can vary from model and year.- Then remove the spout hose, 1/4" socket or flat-head screwdriver to loosen the factory hose clamps.- Once removed, use a pair of household scissors to cut the hose to install the valve where you determined the best position to install. Instructions stated 1" from front of hose, but on my particular year/model, 2" was ideal to avoid the bucket causing interferences when closed.- The kit comes with a pair of hose clamps to secure the valve, just note their position, you may need to adjust their angle to avoid interfering with the opening and closing of the valve.- Reinstall the completed hose and valve, tighten the factory hose clamps, then check fitment with the bucket in the closed position, making sure it doesn't interfere or make contact. Mine clears by a few millimeters, which is fine, even if they touch slightly no problem, you just don't want it preventing proper movement of the bucket otherwise you may get an error warning on your gauge screen.Overall, very happy with this valve and definitely recommend!

Great fit, works perfectly
Worked perfectly to eliminate the Yamaha water spout on an 2023 VX. Installation was simple as described. Rubber hose fits tightly as one would expect. Would buy again

Yamaha Wave Runner water diverter.
We purchased two of these for our 2022 and 2023 Wave Runners. They were easy to attach. We purchased one initially, to be sure we liked it prior to the purchase of a second one.It did take awhile for the second one to arrive. We have since found out that these can be very beneficial to the units, if you should ever have to tow your equipment. The best feature to these diverters, is when you are running when the weather is windy or cooler, you are not getting sprayed by the water spout.

Turn the spout off for towing or hauling, turn it on for the kids
I tried this out on a 2001 GP 800R and it was super easy. My 2007 FX HO came used with the hose missing, so I picked up some hose and added another. Both work flawlessly. There are a lot of non-politically correct names for the water spray that Yamaha has the Waverunners make. I suppose it helps with visibility under certain conditions, but it also is a nuisance at times. This allows me to turn them off when pulling a tube, around the dock or hauling a cooler on the rear deck. It also allows me to turn it on when the kids are riding. In essence I think it enhances the usefulness of the visibility spout, while allowing for it to be shut off at times. I also think that having the valve in lieu of a cap or just pulling the hose preserves the value of the watercraft. Definitely worth the $15 and 15 minutes of work.

Tight for
Not much space to install these but they seem to work fine otherwise.
