when using the h9, does the app on my phone save the data?

Hi Jim, during training the file is saved locally and then uploaded to your Flow account which uses cloud storage to avoid slowing down your phones performance. If you want to keep a history of your Training Sessions please create an account after installing the Polar Beat application. If an account is not created the Training Sessions stored in Polar Beat will eventually be deleted.

Can you check your heart rate between laps swimming?

The H9 will need to be paired to a compatible watch that receives via the 5 kHz coded frequency (such as the Polar A300 or V800). - MikePolarUSA

Accurate reading

I did a TMT test in a hospital wearing this. It is almost near reading and sometimes accurate reading of the hospital equipment where multiple sensors will be sticked near to the heart

It works as expected. But sometimes shows connectivity issues / erratic readings with my Garmin instinct. Since I can’t determine whether the problem is with the H9 or the Instinct, I’ll give the benefit of doubt to H9.
