Does this come in a plain box for shipping? It will be a gift and don’t need her to see what it is when it’s delivered.

Not plain, but a box with shipping labels on it. I’ve never seen any of them in gift boxes. They’re usually shipped in USPS boxes. You can always wrap the shipping box or any box that is 12 x 12 x 10. Also, there will be no price on the shipping invoice, so you could just wrap the shipping box, and say “Merry Christmas. “

Is this product recyclable?

98% of it is. I’m not sure if you can recycle a mirror.

An interesting question that should also enquire if it is BPF or BPS free as well …. and perhaps you should contact the manufacturer that is a leading supplier of boxes since the 1950’s …. based in The US, Canada and the UK Whilst there is a concern, or lack of, depending on ones view … the concerns relate to It’s use in drinks, food containers and canning ….. and really not for the manufacturing of a childs make-up case where, I would imagine, zero minus convern

Full of scuffs

I received this caboodle last night and to my surprise it is full of scuffs at the top most part. I don't know whether it is a factory defect or due to shipping however the seller should have checked the item first if it has scuffs/scratches then wrap/package it carefully before shipping it. Totally not worth my money. I am really disappointed!

Only had a scuff or two I guess from storage but after wiping it off wasn’t hardly noticeable, but was a great gift for the wife and she loves it

Nostalgic Must-Have

Based on other reviews, I was worried about the possibility of my Caboodle getting broken during shipping. Thankfully it arrived on time and in perfect condition. The materials aren't as sturdy as the ones used for Caboodle's from the 80's/90's, but that doesn't bother me.

I had to return the product since it was used, it had makeup stains (like foundation and eyeliner) inside. Other than that, it would have been in great condition.

Product is good, delivery absolutely shocking!

Product is good, and arrived clean and in one piece (reviews since I ordered had me worried!). Not as sturdy as the 90s originals (I still have mine to compare, new ones are definitely more flimsy) BUT this took almost FOUR MONTHS to arrive. Ordered on Sept 14th with an estimated delivery date of early November, that date continually got pushed further and further back. When it said by 11th Jan and hadn't arrived I contacted Customer Services. Bear in mind at this point I could have ordered the same item for £20 rather than the £29 I paid (no offer of a refund at any point), and Amazon was quoting the same delivery date as it was now quoting me for my Sept order (Weds 17th). After a chat with Customer Service I was informed that the item had an issue at Customs (I was never informed of this, also why on earth is a company as big as Amazon having issues at Customs?!) and given an expected delivery date according to their system of 16-17th of January. Imagine my bafflement when it arrived on the morning of Friday 12th Jan.
