Yes...just make sure it's dry... if damp I just wrap it up before putting it in the tube. I travel a lot with my job and use the tube everywhere I go

Dark stallion or white knight? anyone have a preference or a reason to buy one over the other?

Dark Stallion is a real badger hair brush. Pros: feels like a real animal. Cons: it sheds and smells like a badger (during the break-in period), and it is also not suitable if you live in an area with hard water or excessive mineral content. White Knight is a synthetic brush. Pros: it does not smell, does not shed and is usable in all areas. It holds water better and feels softer. Cons: It's not made from a real animal. Overall, I prefer the White Knight.

Which brush is stiffest?

I only have this one, but I've really enjoyed it. Virtually no shedding, firm but not prickly on the skin, builds a nice lather.

Super Luxury Brush

The brush, is super luxury type with plush bristles, smooth and quality handle with heavy base. I liked it very much. I am giving one star less, because the travel case came broken on delivery, and I cannot use it anymore while traveling.

As good as natural bristles!

Didn't want to go with the natural boar bristles, having compassion for the boars! but...didn't think I could find a shaving brush with as good as them...but I did, this brush is just as good as the natural thing. 5 months use and still as good as when I got it.

Most luxurious shaving brush I have owned

I have used a number of synthetic brushes over the years - this one works the best of them all! It creates heaps of thick lather very quickly. Let's hope it lasts a long time. A warning - my brush arrived in a packaging that said "traditional badger brush", very different to what the listing shows. However, Vikings Blade answered my email within minutes and explained that this was just a printing error and that this model has always been synthetic. Another thing is that the metal base of the brush is very heavy. This feels nice, but also means that if you are used to leave your brush in the bowl while shaving between passes, you will not be able to do so without tipping the bowl. Try putting the brush down on its base instead. Not a big thing, but may take some getting used to!
