Makita Dbo180Z 18V Li-Ion Orbit Sander W/Out Battery

It works great as you would expect from a Makita. But a couple of annoyances: The unit has an off switch and an on switch. The on switch can be pressed multiple times to toggle through the 3 speed settings. The unit always powers on at max speed. Remembering the last speed setting would have been great for when you need to use a lower speed setting and need to repeatedly change the sanding disc. Secondly the unit is quite bulky. A handle to hold the unit with 2 hands would have been useful for better control when you have to sand something vertically or semi vertically.

Perfekter Exzenterschleifer für den kabellosen Einsatz. Liegt gut in der Hand, drei Geschwindigkeiten, sauberes Schleifbild. Ein halber Stern Abzug wegen des etwas fummeligen Staubbehälters. Ansonsten typische Makita-Qualität – klare Empfehlung!

I spent weeks reviewing different sanders before purchasing this one, and got to say, its brilliant. This one is the base version, but using the Makita battery with it, gave a good amount of use and battery life. I have a number of Makita tools and not only are they great products, but always feel like really good value for money. It comes with a small dust bag, so happily collects the dust, however I would recommend getting the hoover connection kit if doing a lot of sanding. There are 3 speed levels, but I only really used 2 out of the 3 and although I saw a number of comments about it stopping when using, I can only assume these were people pushing down to hard on the sander and forcing it to stop. As for the noise level, I think this is about standard for these devices and would happily recommend it to anyone.

Tutto ok. L'unica cosa è che le batterie Makita dei trapani/avvitatori con codice BL1815G non sono compatibili. Occorrono batterie Makita o di marche compatibili con codice BL1820B, BL1830B, BL1850B, BL1860B.
