This worked just as well for me as Gaviscon Advance, but without the burning throat and nasty flavor. The chalky texture of the tablets isn't pleasant, but the flavor is nice and it's wonderful to have something so easy to take along with me to work or eating out.

This stuff is great for acid reflex. It builds a raft in the stomach to keep acid down. These are large chewable tablets that are a little fizzy in the mouth but not unpleasant with a mild berry flavor. Might seem a bit spendy but worth the price.

I was honestly surprised by how well this works. It has been more effective for me than Gaviscon, Pepto-Bismol, or Pepcid. The relief is almost immediate, and it's the only product that lets me lie down and comfortably go to sleep instead of having to sit upright because of heartburn.The downside is the chewable tablet. The flavor isn't great, but the texture is the real challenge. As you chew it, it reminds me of expanding foam—it sticks to the roof of my mouth, and I have to fight the urge to gag. Once I finally swallow it, I immediately drink at least 8 ounces of water, and then I'm good to go.Despite how unpleasant it is to chew, the effectiveness makes it worth it. I can tolerate the few seconds of discomfort because it consistently relieves my heartburn and lets me rest comfortably. If they could improve the flavor and texture, this would easily be a 5-star product.
