Not to my detection, it's just an oil balm.

How well does this work on human very dry skin with pressure sores?

It would definitely help with moisturizing but ya gotta get the pressure off and increase the protein if you want a pressure sore to heal! And you'd need a tin full, not these tiny tubes.

Does this work as well as bag balm medicated ointment on cuts, scrapes, and etc?

Yes absolutely! Just in a convenient to-go tube! I keep these in my purse or truck, or even in your pocket.
