Works well on my rx330
Fits perfectly fine in my 2004 Lexus RX330. Before I even ordered this, the fuel door was able to open, but just enough that the actuator wouldn't catch the actuator hole on the door itself. I mistakenly thought the fuel door hinge needed some silicone so it can open even wider, not even noticing that the hinge spring was missing. I soaked the door hinge with silicone. Tested it out, and now the door wouldn't swing open at all. So after researching and discovering that it was missing the hinge spring, I placed the order, came the next day, installed it, and BAM!!!!... door swings open widely. And since I sprayed the hell out of the door hinge, it freely swings like a harlot at a no jockstrap conven--... nevermind.

looks identical to part but very weak metal spring
Item looks and fits exactly like OEM but the metal is so weak it can't open the fuel past the door holding pin that it just closes the door when you release the lever. The plastic part is perfect fit and it snaps into place. the metal has little or no spring. Fortunately, when the original part failed, I kept the original metal spring. I removed the weak metal spring and replaced it with the original metal spring. It is working now

Spring was extremely easy to replace and is working well
The previous spring simply broke off. It was extremely easy to remove the old and replace it with this new one. It is working well. UPDATE 2 years later Probably about 12 to 18 months in, the spring stopped popping the door well, but forcing the spring to open a little more by hand rendered it effective again. The metal has rusted notably, and I am not sure how much longer it will last. I don't think it is going to break tomorrow, but I'll be quite surprised if this lasts as long as the original, given its appearance. Perhaps coating it at the start would prevent the rust and help the spring maintain its strength.

Works Great
Installed easy (1991 Toyota Land Crusier) and is the perfect fit for the fuel door.

It works well and fits with minor fix
I had to grind off about 1/8 inch off each end near the hinge to get it to fit, but that was easy, and then it fit my 2009 Lexus R 350 pefectly.

Great! Why didn't we buy this sooner?
Who knew that fixing the fuel door so that it pops open again would be so easy?! We went a year without looking into why the fuel door was stuck and with the aggravation that caused. Hubby finally had had enough, and found a video online that showed that it can be done by one person with an object - a rubber ducky- to prop the fuel door release handle up, or two people (one holding the fuel release handle while the other person opens the fuel door and installs this part.) The repair took two minutes!

Buy OEM, this is weak and fragile
Durability is really poor for this clip. It worked Ok for about two years before breaking. The metal โspringโ portion broke in half because it is very flimsy. The OEM part is much more durable, you can tell the plastic and metal are both of much higher quality. This spring only ever barely opened my gas cap door, maybe about 1/2โ open. The OEM unit I just replaced it with after it broke opens the door fully. With the OEM part being essentially the same price, there is no reason to buy this.

low-quality product
It's not as shown; they sent a low-quality product. It doesn't have the strength to open the fuel tank door.

They work but they could be thicker.
This device helps open the gas door for filling your car with fuel. It was so nice not to have a second person to pull the door open when I activated the disengagement lock. It works like a charm. I can see why they break though they're a little thin.
