This handlebar tape is pretty good. It's a bit different than I am used to. It's like foam, but doesnt seem to be as thick or or soft as other foam handlebar tape that i've used in the past. It's also a bit shinier than regular foam tape. I'm used to solid black, but this tape seems to sparkle. The good thing about it not being super soft and foamy is that it doesnt rip as easily. It doesn't stretch at all, but also isn't prone to ripping due to that. it has one line of glue down the entirety of the back side, and applies and sticks to handlebars fairly easily. Over all its very grippy, and comfortable, and looks nice. the end caps it comes with are nice and shiny, and round-- not flat like most. I like the end tape, its kinda matted, and isn't like some cheap harder electrical like tape that others come with. Very happy, looks and feels nice on bike.

worst quality a one can expect

I applied the tape to my gravel bike. This tape is super comfortable, absorbs shocks and vibrations well but provides enough feedback to the hands to feel what the front-end of the bike is doing. Application was very easy as the adhesive is nice and tacky, maintained it's stick if I went back to re-do a wrap or two as I went. The tape has just the right amount of stretch in it preventing it from thinning out as you go, it was very nice to reach the desired point on my bars and have little excess left over. Really good product and fantastic value for money.

Haptik & Komfort Das Lenkerband fühlt sich angenehm griffig und gleichzeitig weich an – genau die richtige Mischung aus Komfort und Kontrolle. Trotz der schlichten Optik bietet es eine spürbare Dämpfung, die Unebenheiten auf der Straße etwas abfedert. Gerade auf einem älteren Rennrad ohne moderne Stoßdämpfung ist das ein echter Pluspunkt. Auch bei längeren Fahrten oder mit schwitzigen Händen bietet das Band einen sicheren Griff. Optik & Verarbeitung Das schlichte mattschwarze Design wirkt zeitlos und sportlich – es passt perfekt zum Charakter meines klassischen Rennrads. Die Oberfläche macht einen langlebigen Eindruck und zeigt bislang keine Anzeichen von Abrieb oder Verfärbung. Auch die Kanten fransen beim Wickeln nicht aus, was für die Qualität des EVA-Materials spricht. Fazit Das Alien Pros EVA Lenkerband (2er-Set) ist eine günstige, aber hochwertige Lösung, um einem älteren Fahrrad neues Leben einzuhauchen – sowohl funktional als auch optisch.
