I've added this to my soap arsenal when my skin feels extra oily. It has a nice light drying effect, that I might not want for every shower, but on occasion it may serve a very direct purpose. The scent is extremely mild, to almost being non-existent, which is my preference. It lathers well and rinses away completely clean. I'll probably alternate between this and a more moisturizing soap as long as my skin stays clear.

I grew up on using Ivory Bar Soap. This was the first step to achieving the "OG" Clean-Girl aesthetic. It leaves you clean and smelling like fresh, "clothes-line dried" laundry (iykyk). I love everything about this soap EXCEPT it does not "float" on top of the water like it used to. The texture of the bar is still the same. That's the reason for 4-stars, I wanted 4.5 but no option. It says it's still pure, however, that slight difference makes me wonder. I have not experienced any irritations, so it's still safe for sensitive skin. It does not leave my skin dry or dehydrated nor dry in texture, just clean and fresh.What is missing is the "99.9% PURE" description that used to be on the front of the package. I got them at a great value for the number/ amount of bars in the package. I will continue to purchase in this amount because it lasts much longer.

Ivory soap is a classic no frills soap. Been around a long time and has proven its worth. It’s simple, it cleans, and I will continue to buy it. If you are looking for a gentle soap that cleans your skin without any harsh fragrances then Ivory soap is what I recommend.

I’ve tried a lot of bar soaps as I don’t want to contribute to the plastic waste issue. Most bars feel greasy with a strong scent to them. Ivory doesn’t do either AND it’s economical. Plus I shave my head so this soap does it all. All in all a great clean feeling without an overwhelming scent. Good stuff!

I ordered them for my wife as a surprise, she was talking about how she like the soap so now she happy.
