Can you wear this for a long period of time? I mean the entire time you are out? I used to buy clothing tape and it is totally a waste of money.

I have lace on my wedding dress that needs to be held down...would this work for that? Would you see the tape under the lace?

I don’t know how well it would stick to lace, depends is lace is thicker or lightweight. If I remember right the tape is clear so it probably wouldn’t show. Personally, I’d find a similar lace remnant and see. I did find one review where a bride used it on her strapless lace gown, it did last for 3-4 hours.

Can this product work for bathing suits?

Yes, I do believe it would work on a swimsuit. I applied one to a blouse that has been through MANY machine washes and it's still working, where I applied it! I love these things for so many purposes.
