I would highly advise that you DO NOT BUY this chocolate fountain. It barely kept the chocolate melted our first try and completely stopped heating the second time we used. It. This thing does not work. Read the other reviews. Just JUNK!

Best $40 I spent on my daughter's 16th birthday. Worked flawlessly for the five hours we used it everyone loved it. Honestly we should have bought two so we could do cheese in one and chocolate in the other. Follow the directions exactly in the book. Word to the wise- no need to buy chocolate. Recipe for chocolate in the manual tasted better and flowed better than the chocolate on Amazon. It's just chocolate chips and oil. Highly recommend.

I really wanted to like this product! We ordered this for my daughters 13th birthday and for the most part it was easy to assemble, after getting the chocolate melted in the microwave we then pored it into the fountain like the directions said and it started going for about 3 mins if that. The chocolate started to get hard and stick to the fountain. I didn’t have time to stop the party to fix the foundation with a house full of people. So you can imagine how hard the clean up was. We tried leaving the warmer on so it would stay hot but the spinning thing wouldn’t move. So it made a funny noise. Not impressed!

It does as promised. So hard to fund a metal fountain now a days with out paying out the wazoo. This unit did great and we enjoyed our chocolate. Easy to use and clean. Just fun to have at parties and for romantic evenings.

This unit does a good job of pumping (via screw-type impeller) and keeping the chocolate in a liquid state with its heating system. However there is one slight design oversight. The catch-basin of the unit is only slightly wider than the lowest fountain deflector. As a result, the slightest air movement (outside breeze or being near a ventilation register inside) causes the curtain of chocolate to be blown onto the table...what a mess. The company claims that this is commercial grade. There is probably not a concise definition of commercial grade when it comes to items like this, however this unit seems to be of consumer grade quality at best. On the flip side, the quality is what I'd expect for the low price I paid. Lastly, make sure you understand the size of this. I, like the last reviewer, thought that the unit was much larger. This isn't the seller's fault because they post the dimensions. I'm not sure what led me to feel it was bigger.
