How sercure is this over the knee

It's absolutely very secure. You can have it as tight or slack as you wish. You just pull it a little tighter etc. Very comfortable. My hubby was in agony before wearing these and they have been a godsend and game changer.

Can you swim with it? I would need to maintain overall fitness while protecting my injured knee.

I have never tried swimming with it. Might be a bit restrictive on breast stroke but would imagine it would withstand getting wet. Best to ask the manufacturer.

Ok to do Squats/Lunges with it on without restricting movement?

Of all the braces I have ever worn, these are the supplest and least obstructive.They are also more breatabke than standard ones. You certainly can do squats with them.

Can i wear over leggings?

It should be fine over leggings. Because it is elasticated it will be a bit tighter, depending on the leggings thickness.
