Very happy with my Monsters Clarity 101 Airlinks
Very well packaged item. I've never seen a case like this before. It is very well made and has a very unique look and style. Had these for a week and I am enjoying them. I've used them on the treadmill and they don't fall out. No problems at all. Pairing was super easy. I just pulled them out of the unit and it paired right away. The touch operation includes 1 tap play and pause, double tap to raise the volume on the right side, double tap to lower the volume on the left side, long hold to skip tracks or long hold the other side to skip the other way. Do they sound amazing? Yes, I am happy to say they do. It is by far one of the clearest earbuds I own. The low end is full and extends far. The mid sounds are not muddy. You can hear them loud and clear. The highs are there and sound amazing but not piercing. The sounds are very punchy. The drum sounds are reproduced really really well with these buds. They also have a lot of volume. They are definitely worth buying in my opinion. They will go into my backpack! Pros: - The fit is really comfortable, solid and very secure - They are very light weight - Each charge holds about 5 hours of battery - Set up was super easy - Can use 1 earbud at a time for surrounding awareness - Can make calls, answer calls and listen to music with 1 earbud - The call quality is decent. Its clear and people will have no trouble understanding you. - Touch operations are simple to use. - The sound is amazing! Clear and punchy. Cons: - The case holds 30 hours of battery. Not the longest in the market.

Really Good Buds
I'm genuinely pleased with these Monster earbuds. The positive experience starts with the packaging, which looks and feels high-end, and follows through to the uniquely designed, light, attractive, and overall well-executed charging case. It rotates to open; how cool is that? The earbuds fit and lock right in magnetically, and are easy to place and remove, powering off when placed, and powering back on when removed. The buds themselves are small and good-looking, and fit comfortably, yet securely, with 3 earpiece sizes to customize the fit to the user's ears. Pairing and connection are easy, and are automatic with the last paired device, with the whole process (powering on, pairing with each other, and connecting to the audio source) commencing quickly with the removal of the earbuds from the charging case. In other words, you're ready to rock by the time you have them fitted, and yes; they do rock. The only drawback to me is in that the designers' choices regarding which combinations of taps and presses are assigned to which functions feel a bit clunky, and may take a little getting used to. Sound quality is well-rounded and, honestly, quite good overall. Now I've read complaints about the bass response (and please forgive my wordy response to this), but while accepting that this can be very subjective, I have to say that I have no real problem with the bass myself. The overall sound is NOT bass-forward; that is, unmodified sound does not blast bass from the get-go. Rather it's quite nicely balanced. Additionally, the units ARE capable of producing significant bass, provided that your source device and track can provide it. Plain and simple, not all tracks have prodigious basslines, and not all devices drive that much bass. When bass is called for, however, these earbuds CAN and DO answer, with aplomb. Give Skream's "Blipstream" a try, or crank the bass on Method Man's "4:20" and you'll see what I mean. As previously mentioned, the overall sound is nicely balanced, with no particular frequencies overpowering any others. The highs are crisp and pleasant, and the mids, clear, and voices, even deep ones, are rich and unmuffled. Overall Impression: I like these earbuds! These provide a compelling combination of looks, feel, practicality and - to me, most importantly - sound. They fit comfortably and securely and a balance of sound that's more akin to that of studio monitors. I definitely recommend these earbuds.

Killer Sound and Comfort. (Music > Communication)
I’ve been using these earbuds for a couple weeks now and I have to say I’m quite pleased. I misplaced my Monster Victories one day and decided to give these bad boys a go. The airlinks are way better. Years ago I owned a pair of Sennheiser cx bts semi-wirelss earbuds and the experience is very close at almost the same price range. I spent $50ish more on the Sennheiser and they were only slightly better in terms of quality, so these are REALLY good at the current price. The main difference would be microphone quality rather than sound. I listen to music on a regular basis, so I care about sound quality. The earbuds provide a very pleasurable listening experience, block out a significant amount of noise (I won’t hear a truck coming until its practically right next to me and see it at the corner of my eye or a slight turn of the head, and even then its faint. I listen at about 50% volume on avg + wind from riding board at 30km/hr… so pay close attention to the streets and be safe when crossing). Plus, they fit VERY SNUG and tight in the ear. This is probably the best fit I’ve experienced. As a result, I pretty much have to take one out to have a conversation, like when ordering food, pausing the music isn’t enough. They are relatively easy to use, though it may take some practice to get used to the accuracy and time interval for double tapping to use volume controls, as you WILL accidentally pause the music every now and then (single tap). They case is beautiful and high quality. The earbuds look pretty good too. In terms of improvement, the microphone signal is to weak to use for voice calls on a regular basis. A quick chat in a quiet environment is okay, but otherwise I would not rely on these for calling. You can hear perfectly fine, but your conversation partner doesn’t hear you clearly. Your voice comes in at a low and inconsistent level. I would be willing to pay more to have a stronger, more reliable microphone on this pair. Then these would be more versatile, and practically perfect. I already have a designated Mpow headset for voice and video calls, so it doesn’t bother me too much. Connectivity is very simple, you do not have to manually turn them on and off. They turn on and connect when you remove them from the case, off when you put them back. Just don’t touch the flat surface again when they are in and charging. The monster manual doesn’t tell you how to manually turn them on and off, or reset the connectivity (if you want to unpair them and use them as two separate bluetooth devices or repair them to each other), but it can be done by holding them for a long time for power, and even longer for connectivity reset. In general, I’m very satisfied! I was bummed out when I lost my monster victories but now I’m glad they are gone because these have better sound, are truly wireless, and last way longer in terms of battery due to the charging case. If the mic were stronger I’d give 5 stars. My actual rating is 4.5.
