These work great on both interior and exterior doors. You do need to use more cushion on the back to prevent damage to doors on the backside of the mount. I appreciate this product helped me secure a camera on the exterior of my house with out drilling into the brick. It took less than 5 minutes and I just needed a step stool.

I decided that a video doorbell wasn't the right option for my apartment because it wouldn't show the foot of my door (where packages end up) and would look directly into my neighbor's unit whenever they opened their door. So I decided on a traditional wifi camera and this door mount (pictured is me testing this with my Wyze Cam V3 but I have a Wyze Cam Outdoor V2 ordered that is battery powered). I had to implement a 1/4 20 mini ball head adapter to properly angle the Wyze Cam so that faces would somewhat show and not just the tops of people's heads. Originally I mounted it at the top of my door as it's advertised to be mounted this way, but found that my ball head adapted Wyze Cam kept hitting the door frame whenever I opened the door. So I mounted it near the hinge and it's PERFECT. Really couldn't ask for a better angle. The only downside to this setup is that it's not anti-theft at all. The mount for the camera portion is like a Go-Pro mount and can be unscrewed by any passerby or the camera twisted off the 1/4 20 thread. To solve this, I'm looking into anti-theft tethers similar to what's used for cell phones on display at electronics stores. I found one that I'll attach the adhesive to the camera itself and then the eyelet will get screwed into the plate that holds the go-pro style mount. (The screws can only be accessed with a screwdriver if the front door is fully open or if the whole mount is uninstalled.) Then it'll have to take some brute force for a neighbor to steal it. Overall, very satisfied with how this works for the Wyze Cam V3. The power cord threads through my door frame easily without affecting how the door closes. The only downside is that I have no power source near my door so I'm using a 25 ft long USB cable to power it for now. That's why I ordered the wireless Wyze Outdoor camera, as it won't need a continuous power source. I'll update if there's anything wrong with that camera and this mount, but I really don't anticipate any issues.

I wish these where available when I bought my Blink cameras. Pretty good accessory to have and makes mounting fast easy and NO HOLES to drill. 👍 Its worth buying so let's talk about the negatives so they can improve this. ... The swiveling mount is not straight. It clicks to the left or right not dead center. 🙁 The Blink camera mount adapter is a pain to put on. It won't click into place and its offset. 🤔 I purchased some quarter twenty adapters that go straight on. The little silver nut has some nurling for grip to tighten but some tiny pliers are needed as it loosens easily. Not too bad still worth getting. Comes with everything you need even a back plate for the door so you dont have screw holes from the tightening knobs. The main thing they need to fix is the offset positioning. It needs to be dead straight. You could just get the gutter mounts and place them on your door. 😄 Its kinda the same with a small slit for the gutter and a larger space for just this thing I think. 😉

Mount didnnt work for me so I had to get a sticky mount it said it would work with my device but it didn't end up working and was a bit confusing.

Fits perfectly

So I bought this after having mistakenly boughten a similar mount for a gutter thinking it would fit over my screen door. When I switched to this one, I was really disappointed to see the mount set up in comparison. Not only was it a pain to pop the mounting piece into the back of the Blink, and get it to stay on. Once it was stuck on, it stayed okay, however I did have it pop off while working on readjusting it's position so it fell from above my door, to my porch, to the ground below. I wish this just would have come with a protective case that is snapped into and the case screwed onto the mount so I didn't have to worry about any kind of falling. that said, I will be ordering a separate piece to make it fit that way since I do in fact want my camera protected from falling. Aside from that mounting issue, It's a decent mount. The screws are tiresome and catch/stick quite a bit so it's lengthy process. Also with the large knobs, it does technically prevent my screen door from closing all the way (I wish they had one made with Screen doors in mind rather than just main front doors). It does ultimately do its job. I have a view of the area I need with my camera. TLDR: If you have blink, either pick something else or buy a protective case that is made for mounting. And If you have a screen door, be prepared for it to not close all the way because of the knobs. but it works and does the job if you can't do some kind of screw mount.
