It is very easy to apply, my hair got very smooth after the treatment.

Terrifically (wasteful) effective!
I am ashamed. I usually try to save the environment, and when I received this product for review, I was horrified. A non-recyclable shiny package with a non-reusable shiny cap with a tiny bit of conditioner in it? Colour me skeptical. But I gamely ripped the package open with my teeth and pulled out the shower cap, which has a plastic cover on the sticky bit that holds it on your head (sticks to the other tab). It was something wrestling it on in the shower, with wet hands and blurred vision but I managed eventually. Then, it says to shower for five minutes with it on. Sheesh. I've usually done my whole body in 10 minutes so this felt like forever. Wasting water, too, I grumped. This whole thing was an environmental disaster! After the five minutes, I ripped the garbage off my head and rinsed. I stepped out of the shower and gasped. My hair was incredibly shiny, was curling like I remembered it had when I was a kid. No straw ends. It looked so healthy I kept going into the bathroom to check it and playing with the shininess. The next day I still had hair to kill for, and even now, a week later, my hair feels better, less dry. I hate the thought of all the waste, but I can see me using this every once and a while...or maybe more often...I'll just have to skulk in to the store!

This product fails to impress me
My wife has thick and very long hairs which goes below her waist lines. By looking at product pouch it was hard to figure out how exactly this product works. After trying this product, I can say this is quite weird and time consuming to use it and it is not meant for very long hairs. It is like a conditioner but in the mask form. You have to shampoo your hairs first and then put this mask on and then rub against the hairs. Now, if you have such long and thick hair, it would not go and condition all the hairs below. You always feel like if this worked through all the hairs or not. And, it will not if you have very long hairs. Overall, I would rather use high quality conditioner and apply it by hand which gives better control and you know for sure that you have cover all hair strands. Overall, I cannot recommend this product for long hairs and even canโt think why people with short hairs would use it against normal conditioner. It is nothing but marketing hype to make people spend more money. At $5.99 for single use price is insane and you can buy high end luxury conditioner like ORIBE or R+W which will work much better.

Confusing product
A confusing product for sure, if I had to describe this mask in emoji form, it would be the thinking face emoji, because it left me perplexed and not quite sure how I felt. I've used hair masks before and I was expecting that this, like them, would be applied to the hair at a separate, non-shower time and left, then rinsed out in the shower. So for clarity's sake (because the listing doesn't have much info) you are supposed to use this AFTER shampooing, like a conditioner and then stand around in the shower for five minutes before washing it out. I'm not so much a fan of that, I do prefer a mask that I can sit down and relax with while it's on, ideally a longer mask that can go with a face mask, so you can feel like you're getting more of a spa treatment. This is more like a sheet conditioner than a mask, which makes the sheet part at all feel a bit pointless. I do have short hair, so I didn't have any of the problems with fitting my hair in the cap that others seemed to have and it did leave my hair soft and shiny (though not any more than a good conditioner). I like the fact that it's not tested on animals and that the cap is cute. When you first see the cap you're going to be confused because it looks waaaay too big to fit on a human's head. It's comically big. But it actually fits well, though I did have to slide it back like a beanie cap to stop it falling in my eyes. My two biggest complaint about this would be 1) the mask goo is hazardously slippery in my shower. Even dropping conditioner in the shower previously, it rinses away easily and I've never had any problems with slipping, even after rinsing all over my shower, hair and feet, my shower was so slippery I really struggled to get out without falling. So be really, really careful when using this. 2) I really feel like the term 'mask' is misleading and since it stays in for such a short time, I think conditioner is just easier and does as good a job. Would love to see a longer, non-shower based 'mask' instead. Minor complaint, but the sticker is also really fiddly to figure out and apply with wet hands and no mirror. The smell is ok, though pretty strong and floral, if that isn't to your tastes. Overall, I just felt it wasn't effective enough for me, given the hassle of using it, lack of a spa type experience and the overall cost and cons of the mask.

repaired damage caused by pool, doesnt rinse easily and can make tub slippery.
i decided to try this after i recently killed my hair in the pool. it was feeling much less soft than normal. essentially this is a plastic bag filled with conditioner. you wash your hair and stick this bag on your head for 5 min, then rinse. i found the conditioner very hard to rinse, and it was very slippery, running out of the bag during the 5 min, it was like greasing up the tub, and it didnt want to rinse off my body or hair easily either. initially after the shower my hair looked and felt kind of greasy, and that combined with how slippery it made the tub, i was not impressed. however i did not shampoo my hair the next day, and just rinsed it, and the day after as well, while the greasiness left and my hair was back to being soft and manageable. now id say the damage from the pool is almost completely reversed. this product worked well to recover my hair, but im not giving it 5 stars because of how poorly it rinses off, and how slippery it makes the tub, as well as how greasy my hair looked the first day.
