The fan/light is really pretty and I felt the price was good. The installation was easy, but there were a few glitches: the light cover was broken in the box, and the remote unit in the fan wasn't talking to the remote control. I contacted the company and they immediately sent me a replacement unit and a new light cover. Their customer service was prompt, polite, and absolutely efficient, and I would buy from this brand again. The fan/light itself is terrific. The brightness can be adjusted, and the remote options are great! I can program the air flow to be like a natural breeze, ebbing and flowing, and I can also program the light to go on and off at random intervals if I'm going to be away from home, among other options. Great value and a great look in the room.

Let's face it, ceiling fans are never easy to install and this one is no exception. But it was worth it. The design is sleek and clean. The fan is incredibly quiet, which I love. There are lots of features on this fan that I love. There is a 'Home' feature that you initiate when you are not home. It turns the light on and off at random times. Probably the best thing I like, silly as it may sound, is that on the back of the remote is a sticker that tells you what all the buttons mean. Very nice user inteface!

Very nice fan, Now. So many parts and was more difficult to install compared to your average fan. At first couldn't get the Remote/Receiver to work. It worked without the receiver, but since there are no fan pulls you could have the fan on and light off or vice versa. Eventually after messing with it many times I got it to work. Fan is very quiet and put out very good cool air. Still can't get the dimmer to work though. I wish this had a manual option, concerned that this depends too much on the remote and receiver. Also not sure how to change out the lights if they go out. This rating really is a 3.5, I couldn't go to a 3 since the fan is great now that it working, but I don't think I would buy it again because of all the trouble and uncertainty.

My experience with this fan may not necessarily be the same as others who purchased it. I have no knowledge of the manufacturing quality control. However, I can tell you about the unit I received. 1. It assembled differently than other fans that I have installed. It was not more difficult to install than others, just different. The instructions were easy to follow. I found that the sequence of the steps was important. This is not a fan that you’ll want to ignore the installation instructions and wing it. 2. The fan is very quiet in all fan speeds. On high setting, all I hear is the movement of the air. 3. It required no balancing and has no movement in all speeds. 4. The color of the led is natural and pleasing and the controls are user friendly and well designed. Lastly, I have no affiliation with company in any way. I am simply a satisfied customer.

I purchased this fan to replace a much larger dark brown fan that was not a good look with my lower ceiling. This Prominence Home fan, in white with champagne gold accent and just 4 blades made a significant difference in my bedroom. It's sleek, quiet and creates a nice breeze. It also works by remote control (and wall switch). I am very happy with this fan and highly recommend. I cannot attest to whether it is easy to install because I had an electrician put it in.

Nice looking fan, in our coastal bedroom. Husband had no problem installing. Controller works perfectly. Very quiet, so far, and puts out a lot of wind. Have only used it for a few days now, but very happy with purchase.

Really modern and nice fan. Bought for my daughter’s room and it adds a modern vibe into the room. Now, this fan is control by remote only. It doesn’t have the chains like other fans, so I am a little concern what will happen if the remote stops working. Other than that, beautiful blue fan and has lots of air power.

This fan is initially pretty great, but I quickly found two issues, one of them is a deal breaker. 1. The light has no dimming ability. Not great, but still okay. 2. The remote didn't work well - it seems to have a short in it, so you can sometimes use it and other times it takes a while of pressing buttons to get anything to happen. I contacted customer support and after some lengthy discussion and photos and requests to re-install the fan, they relented and sent me a new remote. That new remote worked for less than a year and is now doing the same thing. There is no alternative to using the remote, so when it doesn't work, the fan is completely out of order. This is a deal breaker. All they need to do is improve the remote and I'd give it at least 4 stars.
