Ok quality
The package was not as expected. They came in a small plastic bag with no instructions of installation. I paid more than what was available online assuming I’m getting higher quality. I don’t think it’s more premium than those of lower price. It doesn’t feel like the original. But it will do the job

Top notch replacement. Perfect color match (khaki/buff). Soft memory foam core and the “protein leather” (which must be a fancy way of describing “pleather” feels soft to the touch like the original). Snaps in perfectly and secure. Seals well around ear and comfy. If you need new pads, I highly recommend these! Details below. DETAILED REVIEW I was surprised the other day when I opened up my Bose QC25 headphones (which I have always kept cased and taken great pains while traveling to take care of) and found that the ear pads had separated/degraded. They had been stored in the case, in my nightstand under indoor climate control year-round. I haven’t taken a plane flight over the last year due to pandemic, so I had not used these in about a year. I think the headphones are about 5 years old, and I purchased them new from a Bose kiosk in the Minneapolis airport. These headphones cost me a pretty penny back when I bought them and it appears that the ear pads had separated at the inner seam where the pleather was bonded around the memory foam core (no issues otherwise). I thought about writing Bose to complain about quality, but looked first for replacement ear pads. Bose wants around $40 for them, and I did not see a color match for this particular “limited edition” set on the Bose website. These are a spot-on replacement. Nice and soft and I cannot feel any difference in foam density. Have seen some negative reviews where buyers said they were “loose” or “kept popping off”, but I believe that is based on “operator error” on install. To remove the old pads, simply grip and pull them free of the small plastic tabs that hold the “rim” of the ear pad to the headphone. To replace, place the new ear pad over the opening and use a fingernail to push the rim of the pad under each tab. There are 6 or 8 tabs around the edge. Don’t just press the pad on and when you hear a “click”, assume you got it under the tab, you need to actually look at them. If you don’t “seat” the pad properly under all the tabs, the ear pad will be loose. You can lightly pull on the ear pad all around it after install to confirm you installed properly under the tabs. If the pad lifts free around any edge, check the nearest tab and make sure you have the pad rim seated. The replacement set comes with addition inner “L/R” liners. They are a slightly darker blue color than the original. My original liners are fine, so I didn’t install those (just saved for later in case they get dirty). Unless you rarely clean your ears with soap, or wear these on a construction site, or store them face down where dust and dirt can collect, I don’t think you will need to replace yours either. But perhaps you like the darker blue. I liked these so much, I bought an extra set (even found one from same seller that includes a Bluetooth link that plugs into the headphone jack when I want to go fully wireless). Now that many devices don’t have a 2.5mm headphone jack, that’s handy and transforms the QC25 into basically a wireless QC35. I love these headphones when I travel. The Bose noise canceling is excellent on airplanes and the QC25 does a great job with sound clarity for music or other audio. Now that the original pads are replaced, I expect to get many more years of use out of them. If you need replacement pads - look no further. Great replacement at a great price.
