Installed on 2003 Tahoe. Rear liftgate support(s) force, in full open position, feels about the same as when vehicle was new. The rear window support(s) force, in full open position, feels slightly higher than when vehicle was new. Rear window support(s) force is not a problem for my Tahoe, but just be mindful that the hinge material on the upper part of the rear window is plastic and might crack (or already be cracked - common problem) if the support force is excessive. If plastic hinge area(s) is / are cracked, remove rear window hinge pins, apply JBWeld between glass and plastic at cracked area and then use wood and wood clamps to squeeze the JBWelded area until dry / hardened.

Bought for 2005 z71. Fit well but Likely too strong. Struts are most likely cause of hinges separating from the glass.
