I build custom showers using liquid waterproofing membrane. I've been looking for a high quality membrane fabric for years. They have been either too stiff or too easy to tear. Not this product. This is by far the best membrane fabric I have ever used. The width is perfect for covering the curb and getting a good flash on change of plane joints. Its a perfect thickness, not too thin as to become fragile and not too thick to add a hump in your corners. This is now my go to for all joints and changes of plane.

After an employee at HD told me to use the wrong type of seam type, it was thick and red, I found this and completed the job in half the time. It's like a thin fabric, super easy to bend into corners and wrap around edges. Inexpensive, and strong. So glad I found this to strengthen all the edges of my shower.

Bought this instead of Laticrete because estimated delivery for Laticrete is about 2 or 3 weeks out from all sellers. Before using, I did a test strip with Redgard on Durock...it held nicely and did what it was supposed to do. So I don't have any worries about it failing. It definitely lays flatter than Laticrete. For inside corners, it works, but it doesn't keep a fold so you have to work it a little more to make sure it stays even and is pressed into the corner all the way. A plastic putty knife works well to push it in. All in all, I wouldn't use this brand again.

Used this in a shower remodel. Love that it is 8" wide. So much easier to cover corners. Product is very strong.

Seeing and feeling is believing. This stuff is amazing. Of course, I am using it for another project than what it was designed for but it has all the properties I needed. The material works exactly as I had hoped.
