Alpha Medical Plantar Fascitis Night Splint Heel & Foot Pain; P.F. Brace L4398 (Medium)

Very sturdy, effective night splint - in my case for Plantar Fasciitis and associated ankle strain. It is much more substantial than the other splints I have used (various toe to shin straps and bendable front of shin/ankle aluminum brace). It is a bit of work to get it adjusted, but once there it has three easy clips to take it on and off so easy thereafter. It is not a sock like many of these splints, but rather a hard plastic back of foot/ankle/shin support so it might be tough on sheets (I saw no issue, but was wary of this point). The included velcro wedge is really handy as it does push up the front of the foot about another 3/4 inch, keeping tension on the under-foot tendons, as it should. After just a few days I noticed significant improvement in my foot and was able to put it aside (until the next time). The only note for buyers I would suggest is that unlike so many things on Amazon, this item actually fits LARGER than you will expect. I have a size 11 foot, but found the largest size too large (I couldn't fully tighten the straps), so returned it and got the next size down - that works really well.

Perfect for planter fascitis and heel pain relief

This works very well for my husband's plantar fasciitis. After a few weeks of wearing the boot, he stopped experiencing heel pain. He wears a size 10 shoe in men's, and the medium boot was the right fit for him. We've recommended this product to several other people.

Cette botte est relativement bien conçue, elle est solide, de qualité, vient avec un spacer triangulaire qui permet de relever le pied davantage. Malheureusement, j'ai dû la retourner du fait que si je la serre convenablement pour avoir l'angle minimal d'efficacité, mon tibia vient engourdie et ça m'empêche de dormir. J'ai essayé plein de trucs pour limiter la pression, comme mettre un bas, une petite mouche, une serviette pliée, rien à faire. Quand j'ai essayé d'ajouter le spacer, c'était pire, la pression sous le pieds était atroce 2-3h après m'être endormi et je devais retirer l'attelle. J'ai donc décidé de la lousser, sauf que le talon se met à glisser vers l'avant de la botte annulant tout bénéfice du fait que l'angle du pied retombe trop près de celle que j'ai sans la l'attelle. J'ai montré le tout à la podiatre et elle m'a confirmé que cette solution ne fonctionnera pas pour moi.
