It's good. Just insert the gas bottle correctly!
This unit is perfect for hiking. The trouble it there is no correct instruction for connecting the standard gas bottle. You assume the large unit tab fits in the large slot on the bottle, WRONG!! Take a standard gas bottle with the big open slot facing the small tab on the unit. Slip the bottle lip under the large clip on the unit with the small tab going into the large slot on the bottle, then twist a little clockwise till it locks. It all works perfect then.

So small and convenient that you can carry it wherever you want without hassle. Just slip it in your back pack and you are good to go.
