Best hairbrush I’ve ever used and will never use another brand again.

I use mine every day. I love it. I recommend it so heartily that I've even purchased them as gifts for people who don't want to spend the money! I am one of those crazy people that doesn't shampoo my hair. This brush plus hot water in the shower is all it takes to keep my hair clean and wonderful :) Clean up is easy as well, I use a smallish Kent comb to comb out the hair, then I put some hot water into a shallow bowl with some soap and let it soak bristles down for a half an hour or so. I fill the bowl only to the depth of the bristles so as not to leave the wooden handle soaking too much. I think I'm a year in and the brush is still going strong after multiple of these cleanings and daily use on hair/beard. Small note: beware the price gouges. I've seen the price fluctuate as much was $50.

My fiancé has had this brush for 5+ years with absolutely no damage, just extremely dirty. That’s the reason we decided to get a second brush (this time with the cleaning brush). He ended up cleaning the old brush and it looks very clean compared to how it was! This brush was made very well and can withstand a lot through the years

Kent Brushes have been made for decades; I have been using Kent for over 50 years. I have several brushes because I have one in my travel kit so I won't ever forget it. Other brushes just don't seem to measure up. Pricey? Don't worry about it. These brushes last for years and give satisfactory results every time.

It’s an amazing brush but unfortunately the bristles started to wear off within 3 days of my purchase. Literally 30 to fourth bristles came of while combing my scalp and beard. I have not used any gel or wax on my hair. I had applied just Argan oil and combed my hair. Can’t blame Kent as they are leading manufacturers of combs and brushes from 17th century itself. The functionality of the brush is too good as it lays down all the unruly and rouge hairs and makes it look really good. Also it adds shine to the hair and leaves the hair very soft. At the same time we can not tolerate any product which is sent to us with substandard quality.The product which is sent to me is 2017 manufactured and we need to look at the storage conditions of seller. Probably if the material is stored under hot conditions without any quality control or quality assurance procedures there is a great possibility that the wood will warp and which will lead to bristles falling off from the brush. I am not able to tolerate the fact that I had paid 58 dollars for a brush with shipping charges of 18 dollars and when it is not up to the expectations it really disappoints me. Today morning was the worst when I was combing almost 25 to 30 bristles were falling out. Check the pictures . Returning it with a heavy heart.

If you have hair, then you should know about Kent. They make the best hard combs on the market. I have 3 of them, and 2 mustache/beard combs. This brush is very high quality. The bristles stay put, and the wood handle feels nice in the hand. The box it comes in is nice as well. It would make a great gift for that bearded fellow in your life. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because for my beard (about 3/4" to 1" length) it is a little stiff. I think it might be better suited to more serious beards. I prefer the R.S. Stein boar bristle brush for my more modest beard. It just has a little bit softer combination of bristles. As stated previously, this is a very high quality product, and I can't recommend it enough for people with long beards.

I ordered this brush because I wanted to give my husband something meaningful, yet practical, in the hospital after the birth of our daughter (not just another "DAD" coffee mug or t-shirt) that he could use everyday and think of that special time. This was perfect! Kent is such a wonderfully traditional, long-standing company and it truly shows in their product. The wood is beautiful! It may seem pricey for a brush, but it is definitely worth every cent. Buy it for any special guy in your life!

In the case that you are a human being living in this day and age with hair that needs brushing, this really is the brush for you. Using the brush feels good on my scalp and my hair actually does obey the brushes commands. I have dark, thick and curly hair and this is the only brush that tames my mane.

Firstly this is an excellent small brush that suits my hair but won't get through thicker hair. The small cleaning tool is not included and can be bought separately.
