I have been using a Kent OS10 for more than 50 years, and have been quite satisfied with it. BUT! I wish someone had directed me to the OS11 a long time ago. The soft bristles are an eye opener as it were./

Kent makes many different kinds of hair brushes for a wide variety of needs and tastes. This model has soft natural boar bristles, (best for thinning hair and sensitive scalps). Now, these brushes can be very expensive compared to others, because they are made in the traditional way with natural materials, so consider your needs and choose carefully. There's no plastic or nylon ripping your hair out; & scratching your scalp here. And, I don't use a blow-dryer or hair gel, so I can't say how that works; but consider it's a personal grooming item, that you use every day, and it will last a long time with proper care. Since you're reading this, you've probably worked hard enough to be able to afford a fine product, and know the difference. So why not get the best? A word of caution: if you have thick, long, strong hair, perhaps a different Kent model with stiffer bristles would be more to your liking; so as before, choose carefully and match your needs and hair type to the brush, (for example, stiff or soft, club or military, oval, etc.).

I guess a lot of people are buying these brushes for beard and facial hair care based on the advertising and comments. I use my brush for my hair on my head which is thinning and is transplanted. This brush is perfect for my condition. It does not scratch my scalp, it is well made and it distributes oils throughout my hair more evenly. I have noticed less hair fall-out since using it. It is high quality and one will notice. Yes, it is pricey but for me, its been well worth it. I would buy it again. It is so well made, I don't think I will have to. I have seen at least one review which showed a brush with water damage and bristles falling out by a disappointed customer. Well, no wood brush is made to soak under water. Use the brush as its intended and it will not disappoint.

very soft. i got the OG and this one is softer like the pckage suggests.

It is a good quality brush, soft brittles and gentle to the hair. It is expensive but it is worth it.

I have thinning hair, especially on top. Sleep and wake up with top fly away hair. Used to have to wet the old brush to get it to lay down. Got up, used my OS11 and it lays down perfectly. No water on the brush. I was stunned. It is really gentle on the scalp. Worth every penny.

Made in England, genuine boar bristles, genuine wood. Beautiful gift. (Came with a beard brush which isn't needed) Received promptly.

This is the best hair brush I have ever owned. It certainly is well worth the price I paid.

Have always used combs & never really thought about them. After losing my latest randomly purchased comb on a trip I went online to buy a replacement and stumbled upon this brush that was getting great reviews. In a moment of madness I puchased this rather expensive brush and I'm really glad I did. It is obviously very well made with great materials, is really nice to use straight out of the shower & if like me have thin hair then any hair damage not a concern. Lifetime warranty is nice and a good sign that the company stand by their products. As it is a bit chunkier that my historic combs & quality item I plan to keep long term hopefully will not lose on future trips
