I am 5'9" and am wondering how long the medium is?

Small is approx 66-70" long. I suggest altering where gored flounce starts at bottom (47" from back of neck to beginning of flounce). Can also just cut bottom but give yourself time.

Small is approx 66-70" long. From armpit to armpit, it's 18". The slit begins about 19" from under the bust. Although the fabric is stretchy, I would maybe order a large so it doesn't appear thin if it stretches. I ordered a small: I'm 5'6" and 130 lbs. It fits me well, but like others have said, it's long. I'm wearing mine with very high platforms. If necessary, I suggest altering the length where gored flounce starts at bottom (47" from back of neck to beginning of flounce). You can also just cut bottom, but give yourself time. If you need to take it in, there are lots of options. It's a nice costume!

At 5'9, it may be a couple inches short at a size small. I am 5'1 and wore 3 inch heels and it fit perfect at a small in size and length.
