If it says iso 160 but my camera has a range up until 800 that means i’m restrained to always use it at 160?

No not neccisarily, you can expose it at whatever ISO you would like however the image may be over or under exposed depending on the ISO you select. ISO represents the films sensitivity to light in terms of speed. So you can shoot portra 160 at 800 however the film with 3.75 stops under exposed. You would want to increase exposure time to compensate or you can have the lab push it 3 or stops but this will result in lower quality. Porta 160 does have a decent exposure latitude but is better with overexposure than underexposing. If you have anymore questions feel free to contact us !
