I think this toothpaste is already reducing the sensitivity, and I have only used it twice. It doesn't foam much and doesn't have a burn as if it was soaked in camphor. It makes my teeth feel clean, and, because it doesn't burn my mouth, I can brush longer.

This gel delivers a bold, icy mint blast that wakes your whole mouth up in the best way. The flavor is crisp, clean, and strong without feeling artificial, and the smooth texture leaves your teeth feeling freshly polished every single time. After a short stretch of using it, my enamel felt sturdier, sensitivity dropped, and the long‑lasting freshness honestly beats anything I’ve used before. If you want a toothpaste that tastes powerful and performs even better, this one stands out. Strongly recommend.

I always do extensive research when it comes to buying a health and beauty product. When I saw the review on this toothpaste I researched the website and reviews on and off of Amazon. I came across this product because my toddler has developed white spots on her teeth and I was not too excited about that. I originally bought the mint and used it on my toddler and myself. I love the mint. A little goes a long ways. It is a gel form but lathers well in the mouth. I have noticed when using this toothpaste that the amount of gunk I scrape off of my tongue after brushing is about 95% less than with normal toothpaste. That tells me that something is working in this toothpaste. Since using this toothpaste I have also received comments on my teeth. I have some sensitive spots when I floss and they are no longer sensitive after using this toothpaste. I ended up buying my daughter the grape flavor as it is more her flavor. She doesn’t mind the toothpaste. Her teeth are looking better, the white spots have started to minimize. I have no tried the grape flavor but another adult in my household has and they too like it and has said it lathers very well. I ended up buying the mint mouthwash as well. I was a bit hesitant at first because reviewers were saying it burned their mouth when using it and they refused to use it anymore. I happen to love the mouthwash. It does almost always burn my tongue but that is because of the damage I do to it myself from eating sour and salty foods. The mouthwash gives me an intense clean feeling. I use it every morning and night before bed. I also love the fact that these products do not contain acid (for shelf life) like most other brands do. Acid breaks down your enamel and that’s something you definitely want to avoid. I give his company a high five for that in itself! I’d recommend this toothpaste and the mouthwash to anyone looking for a great toothpaste that does as it says and contains no harmful ingredients. This company truly wants to protect your teeth and gums. I will co tongue to buy this for myself and my family.

I've been using this every morning & night for over 8 months now. After brushing I swish it around my mouth for several minutes to get the full remineralizing effect of the hydroxyapatite. Hard to say how well it's helping my teeth in the ways I want it to, but I do like the consistency & flavor. It's fairly strong, with a bit of a menthol kick, but not overpowering. (I had the grape flavor of this & sent it back; I couldn't taste any flavor at all and it didn't foam up when brushing like the mint does.) I'd hoped for better results primarily with my two front teeth, which have become semi-translucent over the years. I really don't see much change there, and I kinda doubt the folks who say it's a miracle product in that respect, i.e.: "Only one brushing and my teeth had less translucency!" Baloney; I think that's more of a placebo effect than reality. (like a Don McLean song says: "The more you pay, the more it's worth.") Hydroxyapatite theoretically might have benefits like that, but it would take months to see any effect in my opinion, depending on the state of your teeth. It definitely hasn't whitened my teeth in the slightest, even using it with a top quality Oral B Genius electric toothbrush (though I must add that I'm a heavy smoker & black coffee drinker, so only a dentist is going to be able to whiten my teeth to any noticeable effect. In fact NO toothpaste has ever actually whitened my teeth at all, including all the specialty ones on here like black charcoal, white charcoal, peroxides, Weleda's salt toothpaste, etc.) And this stuff most definitely is NOT going to repair pre-existing cavities. Stories about people with several cavities using this toothpaste for some period of time then returning to the dentist to be shocked by having no cavities is ridiculously unbelievable. But putting aside those silly, unrealistic claims, I do keep using Cari-Free because I want the benefits of both hydroxyapatite & fluoride, and I appreciate baking soda being the first ingredient listed, as well as xylitol. In theory these are 4 excellent ingredients for helping to preventing cavities. I also use the hydroxyapatite toothpaste from Japan, Apagard Premio, because I feel like it might possibly (who knows) have more hydroxyapatite in it than Cari-Free (Cari-Free's generic claim of "optimal levels" of it without specifying an amount makes me a little suspicious.) But I do prefer the consistency, flavor, fluoride, & tube of Cari-Free. I can get every last drop out of the Cari-Free, while it's harder to do that with the Apagard tube. By the way, I also use Cari-Free's mouth rinses and find them to be superb, particularly the grape (though overpriced, considering it's simply a xylitol/fluoride rinse without much extra special about it that I can tell.) If only they'd add hydroxyapatite to their rinses; I don't know why they remove it from their mouthwash when it's in their toothpastes.

It leaves your mouth feeling like no other toothpaste; and even though the tube is small, it lasts you perfectly and leaves your breath fresh without any stinging sensation. I bought it for myself since it's not recommended for babies.
